The time period between 1994 and 2003 was covered by only two different lineups, beginning with the original Airspeed members Jack Jafferies, Dan, BC, Mark Kirkby and Kirk Verner, with John Lemming on camera, and it still produced more FAI gold medals than at any other Airspeed time.
In fact, the original lineup is still the one with the longest time together (six years) and the only one that won two sets of gold medals for the U.S.A. There is only one Airspeed member who was in every lineup that won gold medals - Mark Kirkby (1995, 1997, 2001, 2008, 2012).
Mark Kirkby is also the leader by far as of years in the Airspeed lineup. He missed only three years between 2004 and 2006 until he left the Airspeed franchise for good after the FAI World Meet 2014 in Prostejov. He had trained and competed with Airspeed for 18 years, excluding the 3-year break.
Player coach Mark Kirkby was back with a different Arizona Alpha lineup in Perris. He and David Wybenga had competed with Alpha in Eloy 2016 and now had Tracy Bohm and Laurence Garceau in their lineup. He also brought 8-way Advanced Class team Arizona Azul to Perris for the USPA Nationals.
His original team mate Jack Jefferies attended this year's national championships only in 8-way, where he joined forces with other Airspeed members of different generations. Dan BC was the second member of the oldest Airspeed generation in this year's 8-way lineup, which included all current 4-way members and 2017 videographer David French.
Josh Hall represented the world champion lineup of 2012, which also had Niklas Hemlin in the inside center slot. Chris Farina completed the 8-way lineup in Perris, Airspeed member of 2013 - 2015. Airspeed's 8-way team won the USPA silver medals, as Fly-In Machine 44 and Qatar Tigers competed as guest teams.

In 16-way, Dan BC joined the Perris locals (Perris Teamsters Union) who were not eligible for USPA medals. He completed his nationals sweep in all four categories with the Perris 10-way team (Perris Sweet & Salty).
The 4th original Airspeed member, Kirk Verner, skipped 8-way and 10-way. He finished in 2nd place in the Advanced Class as the player coach for Fast4ward, who could not win USPA medals with Canadian Andrea Greening in the lineup.
However, he was back in the 16-way gold medal lineup of the Golden Knights with GKXP. The Golden Knights have joined forces with several XP members for the 16-way competition in the past years, and Kirk Verner has won 16-way medals at previous events. The lineup also included John D'Annunzio and SDC Rhythm XP members Steve Lefkowitz, Doug Barron and Andrew Happick.
