Did You Know...

... that new meet videos from the Hurricane Factory include Martina Vavackova's 20 AAA Class rounds?

Original Harpia A Class lineup
posted Jan 18th, 2018 - The Florida Skydiving League opened the Indoor Cloud League 14+ leaderboard of the 2018 season last week at iFLY Tampa, while the Brazilian team Harpia posted the first scoring number on the 12+ leaderboard of the new year.

Harpia joined the Indoor Cloud League by posting A Class scores throughout the 2017 season and is now switching to the AA Class sequences.

The Brazilian team is planning to attend the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship in the AA/Intermediate Class next month and uses the Indoor Cloud League sequences for competition practice.

The Florida Skydiving League team posted scores for five of the six 14+ sequences last week and still has to follow up with an R Class video and scoring number for a competitive January total.

Harpia's 12+ sequence was identical with Round 1 of the World Tunnel League January draw, and the Brazilian 14-
pointer opposes the three AA Class scores on the Czech leaderboard. Harpia was in 2nd place behind the HF Cubs after Round 1.

The NSL News is also able to follow up with the meet videos of the exciting battle for the AAA Class top spot in the Czech Republic.

The update on 14 January 2018 covered the first indoor competition of the new year at the Hurricane Factory, and the meet videos are now featuring the ten rounds between HF Chicks, HF Flying Circus and HF Bad Boys.

The previous story pointed out a few double duties at the January competition of the World Tunnel League in the Czech Republic. Two Flying Circus members were helping to fill open slots for other teams, Jakub Klapka for Slovakia's Skydive University team and Martina Vavackova for the Bad Boys. The new videos are showing Martina Vavackova in action with both teams.

20-round meet for Jakub Klapka and Martina Vavackova (right)
Martina Vavackova has the outside center slot with her own team, HF Flying Circus, while the Bad Boys were still missing inside center Vaclav Prokes.

It would have been a very challenging job for Martina Vavackova to switch back and forth between two different slots for two different teams.

Bad Boys outside center Jan Lukavec instead took the other center slot in the rear piece to make it easier for the substitute. The Bad Boys eventually competed with two different pieces compared to their usual lineup.

The outcome of the 10-round battle between the three teams reflects the meet situation. The HF Chicks had their complete lineup available and no double duties.

HF Flying Circus competed with all four team members, as well, while Martina Vavackova and Jakub Klapka completed a total of 20 rounds. The Bad Boys had two different pieces and an alternate and had to accept the 3rd place...
