Not too much changed or turned out differently on the very top after yesterday's half-time update. Arizona Airspeed's new lineup won its first round over NMP PCH HayaBusa and added two more tied rounds on the second day with the highest indoor average at a regular 10-round indoor meet in Airspeed history. As expected, Airspeed also cut the distance to HayaBusa after ten rounds to under 20 points.
On the other side, and on the very top of the leaderboard, HayaBusa finished with another dominating performance and finished with a new historic 33.2 average and a significant distance to Airspeed. Both teams have more than enough reasons to be happy with their performances in Empuriabrava and work on their next goals.
Airspeed has to continue with finding ways to move closer to the indoor and outdoor world champions, while the still undefeated Belgian lineup with Jeroen Nollet cannot rest on the way to the next FAI gold medals.

The French national team, Realfly Sion, might be disappointed with the distance to Airspeed and HayaBusa. However, there is only a 6-point distance to Airspeed without the painful French result for Round 5.
The graph that compares the standings after the first day with the final leaderboard and also with the NSL Power Ranking, which uses previous results of the teams for the expected finishing position, is showing the moves within the field, including the three teams who had their own Wind Games leaderboard and prize money in 4-way Women.
The French Weembi Girls lived up to all expectations despite the change in the lineup and allowed only the Qatar Tigers to move up and ahead into the 4th place.
Odin Parachute System, with father Arnaud Camproux and daughter Elisa in the lineup, finished as the most improved team with a 23.2 average, which is almost three average points higher compared to the performance at the French Indoor Nationals 2017. Odin has potential for much more, as the team lost a total of 17 points in the judging room.
The other French family, Stephane (father) and Tom Mattoni (son) competed in two different teams. The Monaco Indoor Skydive Team was ahead after the first five rounds, mostly due to Aerokart Ak'demie's Round 5 disaster with seven point deductions. The FAI 4-way Junior world champions of the AA Class fought back on the second day and eventually won the internal AAA Class competition by two points.
Last only on the leaderboard at the end of the first day and not least at all, the VossVind Girls from Norway, 4-way Junior team at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2016, caught up with Pajama Pumas, who attended their first competition in the AAA Class, as well, after winning silver medals at the UK Nationals 2017.
