... that the French Weembi leaderboards are open for grabs without HayaBusa?

First Weembi visit coming soon: Qatar Falcons at Paraclete
posted Mar 1st, 2018 - There were teams in Raeford for the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2018 that had much more travel distance to cover than the Indoor Cloud League delegation from Florida.

Teams and competitors visited from all across the United States, and Parachute Montreal Fuzion came from Canada. Harpia is a team from Brazil, as the NSL News reported earlier.

The 8-way competition attracted the Qatar Falcons, and Martial Ferre's and Damien Sorlin's 8-way teams (Veloce QRF, Veloce Captain Jack) are international lineups from all over Europe. There was one exception this year, as Jack Ronalter gave Damien Sorlin's 8-way team the name. He was the only member of both Veloce lineups from the United States.

Most of the Veloce 8-way competitors will not have to wait very long until getting back into 8-way action. The French Indoor Nationals 2018 at the end of this month include an 8-way event, as well. The Qatar Falcons have the same meet on their schedule, and it will be their first visit at Weembi Lille.

Neither last year's winner at Weembi, the Belgian Fly-In Machine 44, nor the Golden Knights 8-way world champions will compete in Lille, which opens the doors to an exciting competition for the top spots in France.

Fly-In Machine 44 was just as far ahead of all other teams last year as the Golden Knights were last weekend in Raeford.

The next 8-way competition at Weembi seems to be promising a battle for the top spots between three teams.

The Qatar Falcons posted a 24.9 average in Raeford, which is slightly higher than the 24.2 average that the Weembi Girls needed for the 2nd place behind Fly-In Machine 44 at the French Indoor Nationals 2017.

The Weembi Girls followed up with a 24.5 average at the Weembinamic in December and probably added more training before the upcoming 8-way competition.

Martial Ferre will surely be eager to get back to the 23.3 level that his Veloce QRF lineup posted last year at Weembi with a similar lineup. Qatar Falcons, Weembi Girls and Veloce QRF could feature an exciting 8-way battle for the 1st place.

Weembi Girls at the French Indoor Nationals 2017
NMP PCH HayaBusa and Weembi Lille both allow other teams a shot at the Weembi top spots in 4-way, as well.

Both French national 4-way teams in 4-way Open (Realfly Sion) and 4-way Women (French Weembi Girls) will have a re-match after the Wind Games 2018, where Realfly Sion won clearly. The French Weembi Girls outscored the 4-way Open Class team last year at Weembi (283 - 274) and will try to catch up after a significant difference at the Wind Games (282 - 304).

The two best Italian 4-way teams, eX3MO and Amnesya, will have their own new battle at Weembi. It is only the third time that eX3MO attends an indoor competition, while Amnesya is a regular at indoor meets. It will be difficult for the Italian 4-way champions to get to the 26+ average level that Amnesya has already in the records.

However, three of the current team members (Marco Arrigo, Stefano Rossi, Placido Udine) posted a 23.9 average last year in May at the Italian Indoor Nationals. They had Fabio Lorenzetti in the lineup who is visiting Weembi for the 8-way competition with an all-Italian lineup, the Fan8ics. It's an eX3MO reunion, with one Amnesya member in the lineup, Giuseppe Cossu...
