Did You Know...

... that Dallas 350 posted an indoor team record average at Paraclete?

Dallas 350 at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2018
posted Mar 8th, 2018 - The NSL News covered the exciting 4-way Women battle between U.S. team Phoenix XP and Parachute Montreal Fuzion from Canada in detail on 6 March 2018.

There was a team right ahead of both national 4-way teams for the FAI World Meet 2018 that was indirectly related to the U.S. team.

Dallas 350 placed 6th at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2018 and was three points ahead of both 4-way Women teams after Round 10, who then went into an extra round to break their tie.

Dallas 350 has two team members, Scott Levy and Lucas King, who trained and competed with Phoenix XP member Amanda Lampton for a year with the team's 2016 lineup.

Scott Latinis was the 4th 350 member that year. Amanda Lampton joined the 4-way Women team in 2017 and qualified with Phoenix XP as the U.S. national team for the FAI World Meet 2018 at the USPA Nationals 2017. Scott Latinis did not continue with Dallas 350 and focused on his new management job at Skydive Spaceland Houston.

Dallas 350 lineup of 2016
Scott Levy and Lucas King were the remaining original Dallas 350 members, together with videographer Alan Levy. Lucas King took a year off from competitive 4-way in 2017, and Scott Levy still kept the 350 project alive. He and Jens Gronemeyer joined forces to hire two player coaches and spent the 2017 season with original Perris Fury members Christy Frikken and Chris Farina. The NSL News reported Dallas 350's 2017 plans on 14 February 2017.

Dallas 350 finished with a new outdoor team record average (18.1) at the USPA Nationals, where former 350 member Amanda Lampton posted the highest result of any U.S. 4-way Women teams in Perris and won the tickets to Australia with Phoenix XP.

Phoenix XP was not ready to keep up with the high-profile Dallas 350 lineup of 2017 in September last year. However, the impressive progression ever since has brought Amanda Lampton's new team closer to her former team mates.

Dallas 350 had new personnel changes in the meantime. Original member Lucas King is back together with Scott Levy, while Chris Farina continues as the player coach. Tim King has replaced Jens Gronemeyer, and the new lineup finished with a new indoor team record average at their first competition in Raeford.

Dallas 350 lineup of 2017
New member Tim King is not new to 4-way competition at all. In fact, he is the Dallas 350 member with the highest outdoor average in the personal records.

He trained and competed with Mark Kirkby's player coach team Arizona Alpha in 2016 and finished with a 19.0 average at the USPA Nationals. William Monk and Andre van Heerden were his team mates, with David Wybenga on camera.

The 2017 season was a lighter one for him, with a pickup team (Long Shot) at the USPA Nationals and a slot in Arizona Airspeed's 16-way lineup. Dallas 350 is serious again this year, and the 2018 season began with the indoor record average. Dallas 350 and Phoenix XP will have a re-match at this year's national championships, and it seems to be wide open.

By the way, Dallas 350 is probably the only team in history with two pairs of identical last names (Scott Levy - Alan Levy, Lucas King - Tim King) who are not related to each other...
