Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV features April's Indoor Cloud League AAA Class top scores?

iFLY Seattle team in April
posted May 11th, 2018 - Earlier updates reported that last month's Indoor Cloud League competition was closer than ever. The story on 4 May 2018 pointed out that iFLY Sacramento and iFLY Orlando tied their monthly totals with 111 points each, with iFLY SF Bay only two points behind (109) on the 12+ leaderboard.

The story on 7 May 2018 added that two more ICL teams (iFLY Seattle, iFLY Tampa) also finished with 111 points on the 14+ leaderboard and focused on the AAA Class sequence that four high-profile teams performed last month.

The iFLY Seattle team of the Northwest Skydiving League was one of the four who finished with a total of 111 points, and Seattle Swift was a part of both stories. The 5th place finisher of the AAA/Advanced Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2017 collected a total of 38 ICL points (AAA - AA) for iFLY Seattle in April and competed against HF Flying Circus, Dallas 350 and Phoenix XP for the highest AAA Class score.

In fact, HF Flying Circus, Phoenix XP and Seattle Swift performed the AA sequence, as well, and finished even closer (22 - 20 - 21). Dallas 350 posted only the 21-pointer for the AAA sequence.

Seattle Swift member Djordje Mandaric once again helped in other lineups as player-coach, this time in the A Class with Monica Aikins, Gary Dutton and Nat Mote.

Deb Correia said that the iFLY Seattle team came together once last month, and she had two new participants, Jacob Bennett and Lisa Orchard, who turned in the highscore for the R Class sequence, guided by player-coaches Dave Correia and Steve Platt. She said that Jacob Bennett is planning to join a team for the summer NWSL season with regular ICL participants Monica Aikins and Jeramy Eggum.

Erin Hundtofte and Pedro Pablo Fuentes Schuster had joinded the Indoor Cloud League events earlier this year and came to the April event sporting brand-new BevSuits. Deb Correia said that both had been borrowing suits before and were excited by the difference in having a custom-made suit.

Randy Barbee agreed to fill a player-coach slot for his first time and had Deb Correia by his side for the RR sequence with the owners of the breand-new jump suits. Deb Correia said that an additional lineup (Ryan Bartling, Kurt Ferstl, Jeramy Eggum, with Seattle Swift member Dmitry Rudchenko) took on the AA and A sequences and could not surpass the scores turned in by the other teams.

The new NSL-TV video clip features the performances of the four high-profile AAA Class teams and the Florida lineup (Leslie Eggenberger, Sally Craig-Hathaway, James Hall, Sebastian Jimenez) who posted the 18-pointer for Florida. Dallas 350 and the Florida lineup performed only the AAA sequence, while HF Flying Circus, PHoenix XP and Seattle Swift added scores for the AA sequence, as well.

The iFLY Dallas team had six different lineups for the six ICL sequences, including Dallas 350 in the AAA Class. Each lineup posted a score for a different sequence, and only the coaches (Amanda Lampton, Lucas King) and their assistant coaches (Lacey Breaux, Zach Breaux, Kyle Hermberg) had double duties.

The first and early scores for for the May competition of the Indoor Cloud League were posted on the 12+ leaderboard by the Brazilian team Harpia at iFLY Sao Paulo, followed by a complete set of six scores and videos of the Florida Skydiving League team at iFLY Orlando. The Florida scores need some work if the team wants to keep up once again with the Northern Californian ICL teams at iFLY Sacramento and iFLY SF Bay...
