... that Ged Parker presented the Bodyflight Recruitz delegation on World Challenge TV?

HayaBusa Hostage Crisis at the World Challenge 2015: David Grauwels
posted May 18th, 2018 - Ged Parker has entertained participants and audience at the World Challenge in Bedford for a long time. He has played a signature role in many different ways, which included stories like the kidnapping of a HayaBusa member at the World Challenge 2015.

He was in front of the World Challenge TV camera once again this year, first to introduce the teams live at the entrance to the flying chamber before Round 1, later with several live interviews of participating teams and competitors.

During one of his roaming tours around the Twinwood Adventures facilities he connected with two Rookie Class teams by coincidence, first We Are 4 from Ireland, then the Bodyflight Recruitz Fire and Ice juniors when they were on a break between competition rounds.

We Are 4 were part of a significant delegation from Ireland. Six teams competed in all four categories, and We Are 4 even won a set of silver medals in the Rookie Class for the Irish delegation. In the interview, the team members gave H4O's Ronan Whelan, whose team competed in the AAA Class, a lot of credit for promoting 4-way competition in Ireland and organizing the annual visit of Irish 4-way teams across the Irish Sea at the World Challenge in England. H4O had competed as the national 4-way team for Ireland at the FAI Mondial 2016.

The We Are 4 seniors were competing with one of the two Bodyflight Recruitz junior teams in the Rookie Class, and Ged Paker found the complete local Recruitz delegation on his roaming trip, including host Paul Mayer's daughter Sasha. She is a member of the Rookie Class lineup, Recruitz Fire.

It was the third 10-round meet in the Rookie Class for her team, and Recruitz Fire have increased the performance and scoring level consistently (5.0 - 6.9 - 8.4) within a year.

The Recruitz had a second lineup, Recruitz Ice, who competed in the A Class. The Ice lineup battled with Sasha Mayer's father's team Black Magick and ended up tied at the team's first A Class competition. Ice had started together with Fire in the Rookie Class at the World Challenge 2017 and moved up into the A Class after the Bodyflight Revenge in October 2017.

Sasha Mayer will probably make the same move soon and then set her father's team as the target for next year's World Challenge. Ged Parker and NSL News will have a good topic for the event...
