Did You Know...

... that SDC Rhevolution XP has joined TSC Cadence on the 13+ AA Class level?

Purple HaZe of the Florida Skydiving League
posted Aug 22nd, 2018 - Last weekend's AA Class leaderboard needed an adjustment, as well. The seven teams from three different leagues completed either six or seven meet rounds, and the rankings did not change much after removing the scores for Round 7.

SDC Falcon were tied with CSC Phrasing after Round 6 and before CSC Phrasing added another round at the end of the day. A tie-breaking procedure for the tie after Round 6 would have given CSC Phrasing the winning position in this duel, with the 13-pointer in Round 3 as the highest score between the two teams.

Florida Skydiving League team Purple HaZe from Skydive City forced themselves right into the middle of the armada of AA Class teams from the Midwest Skydiving League and took the 3rd place on last weekend's combined leaderboard. It required a new team record average for Purple HaZe to finish in this position.

The most remarkable result was posted by the winning team, SDC Rhevolution XP, in the top spot. Rhevolution competed with Jason Krumholz in the tail slot and Keith Nugent on camera after a recent personnel change, which helped lifting the team's performance level from 11.4 in June to the 13.8 average after six rounds last weekend.

13+ without Super Sequence: TSC Cadence
SDC Rhevolution XP's 13.8 average sets up the new team as one of the top contenders for USPA medals in the AA/Intermediate Class this year.

SDC Rhevolution XP did not compete at last year's USPA Nationals and joined the Midwest Skydiving League for the 2018 season. They attended all three MWSL meets with consistent progression and peaked last weekend.

The competition draw included a AA Class Super Sequence in Round 3, which boosted the average of all teams and makes SDC Rhevolution XP's 13.8 look better, as well. However, a closer look at last year's ten scores and sequences in the AA/Intermediate Class at the USPA Nationals is showing another Super Sequence in Round 4 that helped last year's medal winners just as much.

There is only one U.S. team in the AA/Intermediate Class that has posted a 13+ average in 2017 and 2018 without the help of a Super Sequence, and the NSL News pointed out the other 2018 top contender on 19 June 2018. TSC Cadence now has company on the 13+ level of the AA Class Rankings, and the final word will be spoken soon at Chicagoland Skydiving and the USPA Nationals 2018...
