In fact, Paraclete XP is probably the new leader after all August scores will be posted. The Czech team at the Hurricane Factory is facing a similar summer problem and finished the month of August with only 76 points. The difference of 57 points would be enough for Paraclete XP to take back the lead.
Paraclete XP was ahead of the Hurricane Factory until March before the Czech teams picked up the pace and the summer's outdoor activities slowed down the Paraclete team. It is still a very busy time in North Carolina and the United States, as the USPA Nationals are coming up very soon. However, some of Paraclete's top performers were still available and pushed the August lineups to the second highest total this year.
Kirk Verner, Drew Starr, Lauren Byrd and Jessica Haugaard posted the highscores for the AAA and AA sequences, and three of them helped two other lineups as player coaches. The Paraclete team has actually claimed or tied five of the six ICL sequences at this point in time and before the completion of the 14+ leaderboard.

Golden Knights 8-way world champion Drew Starr may not be facing tough competition with his team at Chicagoland Skydiving; however, the Russian 8-way team from Tanay is well prepared to put pressure on the U.S. Army team at the FAI World Meet 2018. Only three weeks separate the events.
Lauren Byrd has the same meet agenda as a member of Phoenix XP, the U.S. national team in 4-way Women. Her team is a medal contender in Australia, as well, and attends the first outdoor competition this year at the USPA Nationals before the trip to Australia.
The Florida ICL team at iFLY Tampa has no world champions available on a regular basis. However, Arizona Airspeed's Niklas Hemlin visited Florida again in August and was in several lineups at the FSL Tunnel Kicker events. The Florida team tied two of the Paraclete scores in August.
