Did You Know...

... that Vega XP continues with former TSC Cadence member Brandon Kashani in the tail slot?

Will not continue in 2019: TSC Cadence
posted Oct 1st, 2018 - The NSL News is going back to the USPA Nationals 2018 before the live coverage of the FAI World Meet 2018 will receive most of the attention later this week.

Today's update is not a review of the performance by or the situation of one of the U.S. national teams before Round 1 in Australia this time. Two teams of the Advanced and Intermediate Class competition at the USPA Nationals have an interesting connection.

The NSL News had covered the dramatic battle for the USPA gold medals and the winner of the Intermediate Class competition, TSC Cadence, with the story on 10 September 2018. One of the two new Omniskore videos is now featuring all ten rounds of the 2018 champion.

TSC Cadence has decided that the team will not continue after two years and a very successful finish, and the team members will go their own ways in 2019.

Last year's USPA Intermediate Class champion, Vega XP, had finished their winning performance in Perris with almost exactly the same scoring average (14.0 - 13.8) and then made new plans for the 2018 season.

The same lineup was back in the Advanced Class competition at Chicagoland Skydiving Center and finished 8th with a 13.1 average after an exciting battle with several other teams for the 5th place. Vega XP has new plans for the 2019 season, and this is the point where they connect with TSC Cadence.

Vega XP need a new team member for the tail slot, as Julie Lindell will not continue next year, while the TSC Cadence members were available for new plans.

The situation of both teams made it a perfect fit for Brandon Kashani, who has been flying the tail slot for TSC Cadence. The new Vega XP lineup was complete before both teams left Chicagoland, and the NSL News will soon follow up with the team plans for the 2019 season.
