Did You Know...

... that the Hurricane Factory outscored Paraclete XP by one point in September?

Paraclete XP September team
posted Oct 3rd, 2018 - The most relevant event in the sport, the FAI World Meet 2018, is just around the corner, and the NSL News will soon be posted directly from Gold Coast in Australia. The competition draw is scheduled for Saturday evening and Round 1 for Sunday morning.

Other events have taken and are taking place, while the best skydiving teams in the world compete for medals, honors and their countries at the world championships. The Indoor Cloud League leaderboards for the month of September are taking shape a few days into the new month, and the two leading teams on the 14+ leaderboard, Paraclete XP and Hurricane Facatory, have posted their September numbers, as well.

The Paraclete XP team had to go through the six September sequences once again without the player coaches who compete for the U.S. delegation at the world meet in Australia. Golden Knights and Phoenix XP members have been available for the ICL events at Paraclete XP in the past and have recently been focusing on their most important event of the year. The Golden Knights are the reigning 8-way world champions of 2012, 2014 and 2016. Phoenix XP is a medal contender in 4-way Women.

Back in ICL action: HF Chameleons
The Paraclete XP team still managed to finish only one point behind the Hurricane Factory last month (115 - 116) and will maintain their lead on the 2018 leaderboard, with three more scores to be added (October, November, December).

The Hurricane Factory is picking up the pace again after two very slow Indoor Cloud League months (July and August), where the Czech team lost a total of 90 points to Paraclete XP. The Paraclete team had their own slow months in June and July and gave up only one point in September to maintain a 25-point lead for the year.

The Hurricane Factory had almost the complete lineup of teams back in action, including two of the junior teams (HF Cubs, HF Chameleons) who have been on summer vacation.

The Czech Republic has no teams registered for the world meet in Australia, which made HF Bad Boys and HF Flying Circus both available for the AAA and AA sequences last month.

High Five at the ESL Championship 2018
HF Bad Boys and HF Flying Circus battled once again for the Czech top spot in 4-way Open. HF Bad Boys are still the reigning Czech indoor champions, while HF Flying Circus won the 4-way outdoor title this year. Bad Boys won the internal September competition by one point.

HF Cubs and Accord took on the same two Open Class sequences, as well (AAA - AA) and ended up tied with their totals of 27 points each. Accord also contributed 17 points to the Hurricane Factory's September total for the A Class sequence.

High Five was back from the ESL Championship 2018 where they won the Rookie Class gold medals. The NSL News had introduced the team live from Saarlouis on 23 September 2018.

High Five then followed up with the largest scoring numbers for the Hurricane Factory team in September, a total of 46 points. The score for the RR sequence had to be capped at 25 points, and High Five is not eligible any longer for the R Class where they scored 51 points...
