posted Jan 31st, 2019 - Most of the teams at the SkyVenture New Hampshire Indoor Championship get together only for this event and enjoy the casual atmosphere under competitive and well organized conditions, as Eliana Rodriguez and Michelle Karamon reported on Tuesday.

The better trained teams with a longer scoring history and more competition experiences won three events (Ranch 2nd Generation - Snatch Force - CT True Blue), and only the Rookie Class winner (7’4”) visited SkyVenture New Hampshire for the first time. In fact, only one of the six teams in this category had a scoring history.

Blood on the Glass attended this indoor competition for the third consecutive time and defended the team's bronze medal position successfully.

The AAA Class field still featured a high-profile gathering of U.S. top competitors.

There were even enough of them to form a complete 8-way team with members of the U.S. delegation who are qualified to represent the country at the FAI World Cup on U.S. home turf at Skydive Arizona at the end of this year's outdoor season.

Four U.S. teams can represent their country at a world cup, and the USPA Nationals 2018 were the qualification event. New Hampshire coach Eliana Rodriguez placed 3rd with Airspeed Odyssey, followed by Mass Defiance in 4th place. Defiance members Ben Liston and Brian Stephens both competed with a different lineup last weekend.

Ranch 2nd Generation won the AAA Class competition with a new team indoor record average. However, they had placed 5th last year at the national championships and would not be able to compete at the world cup if the other four teams signed up for the event.

Team members Michelle Karamon and Jeana Billings will still compete in Eloy in October after winning the USPA gold medals in 8-way last year. Paraclete XP8 has plans to compete for the United States at the world cup. Ben Liston was also in Airspeed's 8-way lineup last year and would have another world cup slot after winning silver in this event. Eliana Rodriguez was his 8-way team mate at Chicagoland last year.

Some of the French Monsters XP members (Mario Mauro, Jack Ronalter) placed 4th in 8-way at last year's USPA Nationals and would qualify for the world cup. They competed in New Hampshire, as well.

SNE Fly Girls at the USPA Nationals 2018

The list of competitors in New Hampshire who will compete at the FAI World Cup 2019 continues with the U.S. 4-way Women delegation.

The SNE Fly Girls entered the 4-way competition world at the USPA Nationals and were one of the five all-female teams on USPA's Open Class leaderboard. The USPA Nationals don't have a separate leaderboard for FAI/IPC's 4-way Women event, and the qualifying teams are ranked together with all-male and mixed-gender lineups in the Open Class.

Becoming a part of the U.S. delegation at FAI/IPC sanctioned international events requires participation in the Open Class competition of the USPA Nationals. Phoenix XP was the best 4-way Women team at the USPA Nationals 2017 and competed for the U.S. delegation at the FAI World Meet 2018.

This year, four of the five all-female teams at the USPA Nationals 2018 are eligible to compete for the United States at the FAI World Cup in Eloy, and the SNE Fly Girls have the event on their schedule. One of their team members competed for Snatch Force and won the AA Class competition at SkyVenture New Hampshire. Beth York will re-join the team as the official alternate in Eloy.
