Did You Know...

... that Paraclete XP8 tied their own 8-way world record and France added a point?

Czech support group: Jan Klapka and Dagmar Bezděková
posted Apr 19th, 2019 - It was a very eventful Friday at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2019, and the new NSL-TV video clips offer a wide variety of the unlimited opportunities for news coverage at a major event.

The video clip of Round 7 in 4-way Women does not only feature the two teams on the top of the leaderboard, whose athletic performances can also be reviewed on the InTime judging videos. It offers an additional insight of the people who are engaged as fans, coaches and other observers.

NFTO and Weembi Nephtys were performing in the flying chamber, while their support groups are just as engaged on the other side of the glass wall. They have stop watches and their own cameras, and they even signal to the teams when their work is over after 35 seconds. They also have the approximate scores available as soon as the working time is over.

French national coaches Mathieu Bernier and Philippe Schorno are always at the same spot whenever a French team is next in the flying chamber. Gary Smith and Ian "Milko" Hodgkinson, who is competing this time for MicroClim8, had their eyes on the exciting duel between France and Great Britain in 4-way Women. NFTO is closer than ever to a gold medal after eight rounds, while Nephtys Weembi are trying desperately to defend the 4-way Women world champion indoor title for the French delegation.

Round 7 in 4-way Women - Round 4 in 4-way Junior

HF Cubs during a long break: Bored...?
The situation is very similar in 4-way Junior, where Mathieu Bernier and Philippe Schorno are anxiously watching the Aerokart Ak'demie, who are under a serious challenge by the Czech HF Cubs.

In fact, the young Czech ladies were still seven points ahead after five of the eight rounds.

Jan Klapka can be very happy with the Czech performance at Weembi Lille so far, and there is a good chance that the HF Cubs might win the first set of Formation Skydiving gold medals for the Czech Republic in history.

The HF Cubs are probably less excited compared to the coach. They are used to AAA Class competition and ten competition rounds at the World Tunnel League meets in the Hurricane Factory. Now they are back to eight AA Class sequences at the indoor world meet, and the slow agenda is boring for the young ladies. However, they will move up to only AAA Class competition soon, and gold medals would be a nice finish of the 4-way junior career.

Also: Julien Degen was talking about his very busy agenda this week, and Paraclete XP8 tied their own unofficial 43-pointer world record number in Round 6. France added a point and owns the new unofficial record number of 44 points.
