There was still a special occasion in Spain, which happened at the very beginning of the training camp. The first training jump was also the first time that NFTO had newest member Kate Lindsley in the lineup for an exit from a jump plane. She had joined the team after the FAI Outdoor World Meet and started with an indoor gold medal at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2018. Then she competed with her new team at two other indoor meets, the World Challenge and the FAI Indoor World Meet.
The progression of the complete new lineup has been impressive and consistent (25.4 - 26.3 - 27.8) at the indoor events, and the outdoor season began with the first training camp in Empuriabrava and the first outdoor training jump with Kate Lindsley in the point slot.
During the NSL Live Talk, the NFTO members were hesitant in committing to provide the footage of the first training jump with the new team member. However, NFTO eventually sent Simon Brentford's footage of the first training jump, and of the last one, as well.
She had joined 4mula in 2013, a year before she would meet her current NFTO team mate Sian Stokes, who joined Joey Jones' and David Rodgers' signature team for the UK Nationals 2014. It was the only event where Kate Lindsley and Sian Stokes competed together for 4mula that year.
Sian Stokes did not come back next year, while Kate Lindsley continued with a new 4mula lineup and finished once again in 2nd place at the national championships. The same year, her team also attended the FAI World Cup in Saarlouis and placed 5th.
Sian Stokes was back with 4mula a year later and for the complete 2016 season. She replaced Renata Herenova who had left 4mula at the end of the 2015 season. The UK Nationals 2016 turned out to be the last competition with 4mula for Kate Lindsley and Sian Stokes both, even though they had no NFTO plans yet. Anna Hicks and Vana Parker had Ane Brentford and Maria Russell in the 2016 lineup, with Simon Brentford already on camera.
Kate Lindsley and Sian Stokes continued together with Volition for a second year and defended the 2nd place successfully at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2017. Kate Lindsley and Sian Stokes actually came to Weembi Lille as the defending silver medalists of Montreal 2017.
Volition won their silver medals with a 24.8 average, and NFTO's new lineup with Kate Lindsley and Sian Stokes were probably eager to outscore Volition. The 27.8 average at Weembi turned out to be miles ahead of the Volition 2017 numbers.
Sian Stokes joined NFTO in 2018 when Debbie Lamsley could not continue, while Kate Lindsley switched to 8-way competition with MicroClim8 for a year. She competed with the Brititsh 8-way team at the FAI World Meet in Australia and was the alternate for NFTO in 4-way Women. Kate Lindsley and Sian Stokes made their last 4-way jump together with 4mula in August 2016. The first training jump in Empuriabrava was only the first 4-way exit from a jump plane for Vana Parker and Anna Hicks and their newest NFTO member...
