... that Ketchup ADV plan to grow slowly and with quality?

Awards at the Italian Indoor Nationals 2019
posted Jun 28th, 2019 - The NSL News coverage of the Italian Indoor Nationals was mostly focused on the traditional duel between the former national 4-way champions of eX3MO and the currently reigning team, Amnesya. The preview of the next duel introduced a new Amnesya lineup before NMP PCH HayaBusa broke the news that Amnesya member Michele Silvi had left the Italian team to join the Belgian 4-way world champions.

Even the meet story after the completion of the event introduced only the new Amnesya lineup with more details and without any hint of the coming HayaBusa news.

The indoor championships turned out to be no new duel between eX3MO and Amnesya, as the team's new lineup started off from almost the same level as before the changes, while eX3MO was dealing with personnel troubles. However, there was still an exciting duel, even though it was taking place behind the old and new Italian indoor champions, Amnesya.

Ketchup ADV finished in 3rd place and only seven points behind eX3MO in the team's first AAA Class competition, and eX3MO saved the 2nd place with a strong second half of the 10-round meet. Both teams were separated by only one point after Round 5.

Ketchup ADV at the World Challenge 2019
Ketchup ADV caught the attention of the NSL News first time after the ISR Grand Prix 2018, with the 2nd place on the AA Class leaderboard. The team name was new, and the NSL News was interested whether it was only a lineup for the meet, or if there were more plans behind the first scores.

Team member Nicola Fedeli confirmed that Ketchup ADV had plans for the 2019 season and followed up with the next scoring numbers at the World Challenge. The same lineup turned the 2nd place in Roosendaal into the 1st place in Bedford, still on the AA Class leaderboard, and this time after ten rounds.

Little over two months later, Ketchup ADV was back for the team's first AAA Class competition at the national indoor championships and won the bronze medals after a good fight with eX3MO.

As Amnesya and eX3MO, Ketchup ADV has a highly experienced Italian 4-way and 8-way competitor in the lineup. Luca Stanga has been the player-coach since the team was formed in 2018. He and Amnesya's Ivan Quadrio were team mates in eX3MO's 8-way lineup, FAI bronze medalists of 2008, together with some of the current eX3MO members.

Award sword at the skydiving center in Cremona
Luca Stanga dedicated his skydiving after eX3MO8 mostly to growing Formation Skydiving competition in Italy, supporting new teams in the three NSL categories behind the 4-way Open/AAA Class (AA - A - Rookie). With the support of his home drop zone in Cremona, he was able to produce good results.

He said that many of his project teams placed regularly in the medal rankings at the national championships, and many skydivers joined Formation Skydiving competition. His heart was still in 8-way competition, and the new and larger wind tunnels allow him to offer 4-way and 8-way opportunities both. The skydiving center in Cremona has its own sword for the achievements of the home teams in all four categories, with name tags for the winners of any national medals.

Luca Stanga was first only coaching Ketchup ADV until one member left the team last year, and he filled the open slot as the player-coach. He said that he did not hesitate, as he knew the potential of the team and was good friends with his new team mates.

The team goal is to grow slowly and with quality. The first year was very successful, and the Italian Outdoor Nationals will soon bring the same three teams together again on the AAA Class leaderboard...
