Did You Know...

... that new Czech 4-way juniors posted ICL September highscores for the Hurricane Factory?

HF Flying Circus at the ESL Championship 2019
posted Oct 2nd, 2019 - Czech Indoor Cloud League organizer Jan Klapka had difficulties to get scores and videos for all six sequences in August, and he missed a scoring number for the RRR Class sequence eventually. Paraclete XP won the August competition by 43 points and reduced the distance to the leader on the 14+ leaderboard.

Jan Klapka did not have the same problem in September. In fact, the internal Czech ICL leaderboard for last month was one of the largest in the Hurricane Factory history. 12 teams provided their scores and competed for the honor of contributing scoring numbers to the Czech total of the month.

Four teams made it to the Czech ICL leaderboard, and there was strong internal competition, not only for the top spot. Once again, the Czech 4-way juniors and ex-juniors contributed heavily to the total of 146 points, which is the record number this year.

The 4-way Junior world champions, HF Cubs, took care of the AAA and AA sequences in the absence of HF Flying Circus, and HF Chicks could not keep up with the young 4-way competitors at their indoor comeback. The HF Dragonflies juniors posted the highest score for the A Class sequence, and the new junior team HF Invisible added 20 and 25 points for two of the three Rookie Class sequences.

Hight Five at the ESL Championship 2019
It was only one senior team that was able to outscore the Czech juniors in the RRR Class. Hight Five posted a 30-pointer for the sequence that could be drawn for an A Class competition, as well. Hight Five had won the A Class competition at the ESL Championship 2019, after the 1st place in the Rookie Class competition of 2018.

Three guest teams from Qatar had actually placed shortly ahead of Hight Five, who won the European A Class gold medals for the Czech delegation. High Five then followed up with the 30 indoor points for the Hurricane Factory. M Team competed at the ESL Championship, as well, together with the third Czech team, HF Flying Circus. Both teams posted their scores on the AAA Class leaderboard.

Hight Five still had to accept the superiority of the 4-way juniors for the A Class sequence. HF Flying Rebels and HF Dragonflies both posted higher scores in this category.

The new 4-way junior team HF Juniors Invisible consists of Eliška Podoubska, Kristýna Maratova and Eliška Dealer. Jan Klapka adds one team member of the HF Cubs to the lineup in a player-coach slot. He said that the new 4-way juniors benefit greatly from the cooperation between all junior teams.
