Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV features the Best of Indoor Cloud League September?

Invisible Czech 4-way juniors in action
posted Oct 23rd, 2019 - The Indoor Cloud League leaderboard for the month of September presented a new participating team from iFLY Jacksonville in Florida, as the NSL News reported on September 30th. The new team started with five of the six ICL sequences and will try to submit a full set for October.

The September video features the best performances of the month that the Hurricane Factory won with the highest total of the 2019 season. Hurricane Factory and Paraclete XP each claimed three of the six highscores on the 14+ leaderboard, while iFLY SF Bay won all three technical sequences (AAA - AA - A) over iFLY Orlando in the 12-foot flying chambers.

iFLY Orlando's R Class lineup was able to match the maximum score of 25 points that the newest Czech 4-way Junior team, HF Invisible, posted on the 14+ leaderboard. The three Rookie Class sequences (RRR - RR - R) are identical for all sizes of flying chambers.

The same Czech juniors also won the RR Class. HF Invisible have not attended any of the Czech World Tunnel League meets yet. Jan Klapka has been preparing them for the first 10-round meets with indoor training and Indoor Cloud League challenges. The indoor season of the Czech Tunnel League begins with the first meet in November.

Paraclete XP controlled the A Class and the RRR Class with two different lineups. Chris Webb, Terry Seaworth, Dave Grabowski and Chris Kuhlmann posted 24 points for the A Class sequence right before the start of the USPA Nationals.

Player-coach Chris Kuhlmann, original member of Ranch 2nd Generation, won the 8-way Open Class title with Paraclete XP8 in the middle of the following week.

Czech A Class team Hight Five set a high level with a 30-pointer for the RRR sequence, which could be drawn for an A Class meet. Even that was not enough for Paraclete XP's September lineup in this category. Matt Alarif, Maria Garcia-Sheets, Ed Ganley and Cheryl Morgan posted a 33-pointer for the same sequence.

The HF Cubs, reigning 4-way Junior world champions, then performed both Open Class sequences (AAA - AA) for the Hurricane Factory and won the AA Class by one point over a Paraclete high-profile team with Michelle Karamon, Jeana Billings, Chris Kuhlmann and Morgan Womble, which was almost the complete R2G lineup.

The same two teams performed the AAA Class sequence, where the highly experienced Paraclete lineup had the clear upper hand for the slot-switchers in both pieces.

On the 12+ leaderboard, three Cali4nia Raptors members (Jessica Lee, Ethan DeLano, Julius Frank) with former Fastrax member Eric Gin outscored their own team by a fraction of a second in the AAA Class, as the NSL News reported on October 20th. Jessica Lee and Ethan DeLano did the same for the AA Class sequence, where they outscored themselves and the Cali4nia Kids with Lauren Pruett and Will Harris.

Ethan DeLano then guided Racheet Matai, Michael Stevens and Kiran Shivaram to the A Class highscore on the 12+ leaderboard.

Djordje Mandaric reported from iFLY Seattle that Irina Meshcheryakova was back in September after joining his ICL team in August. She had also joined Phoenix XP this year and then missed the USPA Nationals, when her team canceled the participation shortly before the start of the competition.

Eventually she competed only in 8-way, finishing 5th on the Open Class leaderboard with SDC Rhythm 9 XP and a 10.4 point average. Irina Meshcheryakova and Seattle Swift member Djordje Mandaric then performed the AAA and AA sequences together for the iFLY Seattle September team, together with Deb Correia and Shawna Williams.
