Did You Know...

... that the Czech indoor winter season begins this month?

New ICL team iFLY Jacksonville in September
posted Nov 1st, 2019 - The month of October is over, and the first submissions of Indoor Cloud League scores and videos are posted. The new iFLY Jacksonville team performed two of the six ICL sequences for the 14+ leaderboard this time. The total for the two sequences was higher compared to September, which was the first month for the new ICL participants.

The iFLY Jacksonville scores for the two Rookie Class sequences (RRR - R) also matched the numbers that came from the Hurricane Factory, where the 4-way juniors of HF Chameleons and Rusalky performed the same sequences. The new ICL video clips feature the six Czech highscores from the Hurricane Factory and a clip that iFLY Jacksonville's Lindsey Miller put together after her own first ICL experience in September.

It is a short summary of the first event at iFLY Jacksonville, where Kurt Gaebel, founder of the National Skydiving League, World Tunnel League and Indoor Cloud League explains the purpose of Indoor Cloud League events.

The highscores for the six sequences on the Czech 14-foot leaderboard were once again contested in five of the six categories, except for the R Class sequence where the Rusalky juniors are the only eligible team left for Jan Klapka. Eight different teams tried to get on the internal Czech leaderboard. Four of the eight Czech teams were 4-way juniors, and two members of the HF Cubs could also still compete in the official FAI/IPC 4-way Junior event.

Next Czech 4-way junior generation in training at the Hurricane Factory
October was the last month for the Hurricane Factory without a monthly event of the World Tunnel League. The new Czech indoor winter season begins in November, and WTL/ICL organizer Jan Klapka will use the events to prepare his 4-way juniors for the next FAI Indoor World Cup in April 2020.

The Czech Republic is the reigning 4-way Junior indoor world champion, after the HF Cubs won the event at the FAI Indoor World Meet in April this tear. Jan Klapka said that the first team training camp for the Czech 4-way juniors took place on Friday this week.

The NSL News explained earlier this year that Jan Klapka planned to assign the complete lineup of the HF Flying Rebels as the next Czech national team in 4-way Junior. HF Cubs members Karolina Henkova, Sabina Cioleková and Viktorie Nováková will still be available to help the next generation of Czech juniors with their own experiences while stepping up into the 4-way Women event.

The HF Flying Rebels have their own internal Czech competition with the HF Dragonflies who outscored the new national team in the AA Class last month. Both teams will keep pushing each other to the HF Cubs level, Jan Klapka is hoping. The first WTL meet of the Czech winter season at the Hurricane Factory is scheduled for November 13th.
