It was also the beginning of the winter training camp of the Qatar Tigers, who joined the Qatar Falcons at the same place and time.
HayaBusa conducted the training camp by themselves, as the same NSL News story mentioned. Coach Gary Smith arrived later to work with the Qatar Tigers, and he met his coach colleague Jeremie Rollett once again at Skydive City who is coaching the Qatar Falcons 8-way team.
The three teams shared Skydive City's Twin Otter at the time that they spent together, while the coaches join forces often when their work is done, and if they have enough time for a round of golf nearby, or at least for some swing or short-game practice.
They had practiced exits and sub-terminal pages from 7,000 feet at the previous visit of the NSL News. The second video features the two coaches at the end of the day on the golf course, which concludes the unfiltered NSL-TV video clip.
The first video clip features not only the three teams in the same Twin Otter. This time, the NSL-TV camera captured one complete training jump, beginning with the boarding and ending with the break-off.
The footage is coming from a different angle, even though the two videographers were sharing the same camera slot after climbing out.
Luc van Britsom was filming from his usual position for a HayaBusa training or competition jump, while the NSL-TV camera did not have to consider the judging angle for the footage.
Andy Grauwels and NMP PCH HayaBusa reacted quickly in a very funny way. They did not try to get back into the sequence and invited the additional videographer into the formation instead, for their famous round of knee-flying. The same jump was recorded by both cameras, as Luc van Britsom staid away from the unusual finish of the training jump.
NMP PCH HayaBusa did not only entertain themselves and NSL-TV with the surprising finish of the training jump and then the training camp. Team members Andy Grauwels and Dennis Praet had additional plans at the end of the training day. They have been playing around and experimenting with XRW whenever there is some extra time.
Andy Grauwels is using the wingsuit, while Dennis Praet switches to a different parachute with a surface of 61 sq ft. He is not using it for a regular training jump though.
The front piece partners explain their XRW adventures in the second NSL-TV video clip.
They are still working on the basics and have not connected yet. It will probably not take too long until the first HayaBusa XRW footage will be posted. The Belgians are scheduled for more outdoor training at Skydive City in January.
Gary Smith was working with the Qatar Tigers who may eventually become a serious challenger of the Belgian 4-way world champions. Jeremie Rollett is coaching only the Qatar Falcons, and the Qatar delegation will also be back in January. The coaches will have more opportunities to compete against each other on the golf course...
