Realfly Fire is a new Swiss 4-way team, captained by Jérôme Héritier, who has been a member of Martial Ferre's 8-way signature team, Veloce QRF, in the past years. He was still in the Veloce QRF lineup in May this year, when the 8-way team finished with a 23.9 indoor team record average at the French Indoor Nationals.
His new 4-way team mate Jordan Demierre is also coming from the same Veloce 8-way environment. Jérôme Héritier and Jordan Demierre both competed in different 8-way lineups at Paraclete XP Indoor Championships before they joined forces in 4-way with Realfly Fire.
The senior team from Switzerland may have been surprised by the performance of the Czech 4-way juniors. Realfly Fire's 22.3 average would have been more than enough to outscore the HF Flying Rebels on their previous top level. The Czech juniors had just posted their first two 20+ averages in November before traveling to Roosendaal, with the 20.9 at the November meet of the World Tunnel League as the previous team record average.

The situation was probably similar for the MAD Team from Poland. They had even outscored the HF Flying Rebels when the Czech 4-way delegation traveled to Katowice last month and visited the Flyspot Polish Open. Ladies Power and MAD Team took the first two places on the AA Class leaderboard, and the HF Dragonflies juniors placed in front of their Czech 4-way tunnel peers, as well.
The HF Flying Rebels, who are designated as the Czech national team in 4-way Junior, had suffered heavily in Poland with a total of 20 point deductions, the record number in the AA Class, and they had only one clean round throughout the 10-round meet. It was still only a 1-point difference to HF Dragonflies and MAD Team who added an extra round to break their tie in 2nd place.
However, coach Jan Klapka cleaned up the Flying Rebels performance before and at the ISR Grand Prix, and result was the new 22.5 team record average in Roosendaal.

Mad Team and HF Flying Rebels both were still competing in the A Class last year. The Czech juniors attended their last meet in this category in April and came back in the AA Class when the Czech indoor winter season began in November 2018. They have consistently increased the AA Class scoring and performance level ever since.
The MAD Team continued in the A Class half a year longer then HF Flying Rebels. They left this category behind after winning at the World Challenge 2019, as they had done after the 1st place in the Rookie Class of the previous World Challenge. HF Flying Rebels and MAD Team both have shown a very similar progression.
The World Challenge 2020 will include a new AA Class leaderboard, where both teams can post their scores together. The MAD Team will probably try to become the first team winning three different categories in three consecutive years at the World Challenge. The HF Flying Rebels could be the biggest obstacle...
