Did You Know...

... that the Hurricane Factory wrapped up the ICL 2019 season with 130 points?

HF Chicks with three HF Cubs
posted Dec 28th, 2019 - The Czech Indoor Cloud League team at the Hurricane Factory wrapped up their 2019 season with a total of 130 point for the month of December, which secures the top spot on this year's 14+ leaderboard.

This time, the Czech scores for the two Open Class sequences (AAA - AA) were contributed by the two all-female lineups of the HF Cubs and the HF Chicks. HF Flying Circus did not take on the same two ICL sequences in December, after winning the World Tunnel League competition earlier this month.

The HF Cubs also performed the two sequences with their complete lineup and did not need former Bad Boys member Jan Lukavec to fill an open slot, as he did for the World Tunnel League's December meet at the Hurricane Factory.

The HF Chicks outscored the HF Cubs for the AA Class sequence by one point, after the 6-point difference for the slot-switching AAA Class sequence. They combined for the total of 42 points for the two Open Class sequences that they added to the Hurricane Factory account on the Indoor Cloud League's December leaderboard.

The comeback of the HF Chicks promises great AAA Class indoor competition in the Czech Republic for the near future. The two all-female lineups will probably push each other to the Czech top spot in the 4-way Women event at FAI/IPC events.

The HF Cubs have moved up into the senior 4-way competition after winning the world championship title in 4-way Junior in April this year, even though two team members would still be eligible for the junior event. At the same time, the HF Chicks welcome and integrate other former HF Cubs members into their own lineup.

The internal Czech competition for the top spot in 4-way Women could also move both teams closer to the Czech national team in 4-way Open.

HF Flying Circus, with two more Czech female 4-way competitors (Dagmar Bezdeková, Martina Vavackova), already felt the power of the HF Cubs at the November meet of the Czech World Tunnel League, where they ended up behind the Cubs in 2nd place.

Reigning 4-way world champion David Grauwels with future Czech world champions...?
Accord, M Team and 4 V Tunelu battled for the position behind the two all-female lineups using three Indoor Cloud League sequences (AAA - AA - A). Jan Klapka's M-Team, which he joined when the Bad Boys disbanded, even managed to tie the 16-pointer of the HF Chicks for the AAA Class sequence.

The other four December scores (A - RRR - RR - R) were once again scored by the Czech 4-way juniors. The four young ladies of the HF Dragonflies posted the highscore for the A Class sequence, while the HF Flying Rebels won the internal AA Class competition. Both sequences (AA - A) could be drawn for a AA Class meet, which is the 4-way Junior competition at FAI/IPC events.

The HF Dragonflies keep challenging the HF Flying Rebels who have been assigned as the Czech national team in 4-way Junior. HF Chameleons and HF Invisible, both with only 4-way juniors in the lineups, took care of the three Rookie Class sequences. The 4-way juniors of Rusalky are also getting closer to the two other 4-way junior teams month by month.
