Did You Know...

... that February was a very successful month for the iFLY Dallas team and Kyle Hermberg?

First AAA Class sequences for former SSL Director Brandy Verhalen (3rd from left)
posted Mar 2nd, 2020 - The iFLY Dallas team was first in submitting the Indoor Cloud League scores and videos for the month of February, and there was a good reason for that.

ICL organizer Kyle Hermberg knew that it would become quite busy at the end of the month, as he was planning to compete with a pickup 4-way team at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2020, as well. He has been a regular at the event, and he signed up with a new lineup of 4-way competitors from different regions of the United States this year.

He was first contributing to the iFLY Dallas ICL account with scores for two of the six ICL categories (A/RRR) with Robbin Schmitt, Roc Tofil and Ron Shipp in the lineup. Then he guided Aaron Shoulders, Nick Anderson and Raj Sarkar through the R Class sequence, as well. The total of 58 points for the three sequences was little over half of the iFLY Dallas score for February.

Former Southern Skydiving League director Brandy Verhalen took on a AAA Class sequence for the first time, with Aaron Perkins, Donaldo Grajeda and Lacey Breaux in the iFLY Dallas February lineup for the two Open Class sequences.

Kyle Hermberg for iFLY Dallas in A/RRR/R lineups
AA/Intermediate Class awards at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2020
Kyle Hermberg then traveled to North Carolina and got ready for his ten rounds in the AA/Intermediate Class competition at Paraclete XP.

He teamed up with Cat Mollmann, Maggie Moorhead and Chris Normandeau for a 1-point battle with F-5, a new 4-way team from Triangle Skydiving that plans to compete at the USPA Nationals, as well.

Chris Normandeau is an experienced 4-way competitor who trained and competed with SDC Rhevolution XP in 2018 and 2019 and has now moved to South Florida. His former team mate Gorka Amian was one of the judges at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship last weekend. Maggie Moorhead has her own Indoor Cloud League history. She was in the Paraclete XP lineup for the month of May 2019, where her team posted the highscore for the A Class sequence. New SCZ ZEUS member Eric Harper was in the same lineup.

It turned out perfectly for Kyle Hermberg's lineup last weekend, as the Barhons won the AA/Intermediate Class competition. At the same time, his Indoor Cloud League February team posted the highest total for iFLY Dallas since December 2016. It was a very successful month of February for Kyle Hermberg, congratulations.
