The first weekend with indoor and outdoor action in Raeford featured U.S. top teams, and the NSL News used the opportunity for a road trip from Florida to North Carolina and switch back from online interviews to the traditional NSL Live Talk, at least at this point in time.
The new XPG4 lineup had scheduled indoor training for Saturday and Sunday, together with Vega XP. The U.S. indoor champion in 4-way Advanced took advantage of the fact that Arizona Airspeed would also train on Sunday, and they hired coach Niklas Hemlin for their own flying sessions alongside XPG4 on Saturday and Sunday. Niklas Hemlin then continues with Airspeed XP8 outdoor training on Monday.
However, the NSL Live Talk updates begin with Golden Knights team captain Andrew Starr, who lives in Aberdeen and took time to meet with the NSL News for a new conversation. The U.S. Army's competition teams were on a hold, as well, and they are resuming their training with almost exactly the same timing. Andrew Starr has spent a lot of time with his second sport, golfing, that was not facing the same restrictions as other sports, due to the natural distance between the players. He lives in a golfing community, and the interview took place at his home course.
The NSL News has reported the progression of the new Golden Knights 8-way and 4-way teams on a regular basis, and it included several NSL Live Talk sessions with Andrew Starr in his position as the team captain, the last one before any changes at the Paraclete XP Summer Classic.
He was a part of the next headline when SDC Rhythm XP announced in December 2019 that JaNette Lefkowitz steps back for a while and that Andrew Starr will replace her in the inside center slot. This meant that he would also compete with SDC Rhythm XP for the U.S. Formation Skydiving delegation at the FAI Mondial 2020 in Tanay.
New plans were made for the new Rhythm lineup, and the NSL News met the whole team at Skydive Sebastian in January for an update. It was an outdoor training camp, even though Rhythm would first travel to Spain for the Wind Games, followed later by the World Challenge and the FAI Indoor World Cup. The Shamrock Showdown at Skydive City was supposed to be the first outdoor competition in 2020.

Andrew Starr was back with his own Golden Knights lineups in 4-way and 8-way at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship, where JaNette Lefkowitz helped out one more time in her and Andrew Starr's inside center slot. Then things changed dramatically with the impact of the corona virus.
A new NSL Live Talk online with the complete Rhythm lineup on April 24th was taking on the situation before the cancellation and rescheduling of the FAI Mondial 2020, when Andrew Starr was still the team's inside center. Only a day later, FAI/ISC and Tanay announced their decision to reschedule the event for August 2021, which was the beginning of a series of subsequent implications.
Andrew Starr's situation changed again, as he and the U.S. Army had the additional Rhythm plans only until August 2020. The new NSL Live Talk with Andrew Starr on Saturday is based on the most current situation at this point in time of the corona virus crisis.
