Did You Know...

... that NMP PCH HayaBusa increased the lead to 11 points after Round 7?

In the middle of the NSL Cloud Mondial: CTR Optimum
posted Nov 8th, 2020 - The second part of the NSL Cloud Mondial's 4-way competition added four more rounds to the leaderboard, and NMP PCH HayaBusa increased the lead to 11 points.

The Belgian 4-way world champions did not dominate Rounds 4 - 7 as they did throughout the first three rounds. Arizona Airspeed stole the first highscore for a round, due to two point deductions in Round 6. They were the only two HayaBusa infringements that the InTime judges have detected so far.

Arizona Airspeed have lost only one more point, while the Qatar Tigers lost a total of six points in the first seven rounds. The Qatar Tigers went into the online competition with very little training.

More scores and videos of the first seven rounds will be added soon. The Brazilian national 4-way team CTR Optimum is in the middle of a training camp this weekend and have submitted the first footage of additional competition rounds. SDC Rhythm XP is in the same situation at Skydive Sebastian in Florida, where the approaching tropical storm Eta is making it impossible to continue with skydiving in the coming days. Rhythm will have to wait out the storm and then continue with the missing competition rounds. The Dutch national 4-way team Out of the Blue was done after five rounds, and Joey Jones pointed out the impressive performance in Rounds 4 and 5.

Three HayaBusa coaches with DeLand Majik: Doug Park - Joey Jones - Gary Smith
Gary Smith, Joey Jones and David Grauwels were back this morning for an evaluation of the new four rounds of the NSL Cloud Mondial. It is NSL Live Talk and recorded on the Zoom online platform, which allows the audience to listen to the amazing feedback at any time. There is no need for a live streaming conference, as the whole event and the coverage is only resembling a live event.

However, the NSL News highly recommends to listen to the discussion very carefully. The three of the most experienced competitors and coaches in the history of the sport are not only discussing the scores and standings. They provide much more than that, including a technical debriefing of the rounds and a load of details for active teams and competitors.

They have very special relationships with each other, and all of their history in Formation Skydiving competition connects to NMP PCH HayaBusa, one way or another.

Joey Jones and Gary Smith were first team mates and 4-way world champions with DeLand Majik before turning to coaching. Majik member Doug Park started with the Belgians, Joey Jones took over after a few years, Gary Smith has currently been working with them. David Grauwels was HayaBusa's inside center when they won their FAI gold medals in 20014, 2016 and 2018. He is now on HayaBusa camera. All three will be back for today's NSL Live Talk.
