Coach Niklas Hemlin was training with the team in both slots, and the NSL News will soon follow up with more information and NSL Live Talk.
It was a busy weekend at Paraclete XP when Vega XP came back for the team's second indoor camp. SDC Rhythm XP were hosting a workshop on the same weekend, which included indoor training in several different formats.
Andrew Happick was working with a student on basic individual skills, while Steve Lefkowitz and Christy Frikken were player-coaching different 4-way lineups when the NSL News visited the Paraclete XP wind-tunnel. Doug Barron had an additional different project, as he was busy with player-coaching an 8-way lineup. JaNette Lefkowitz was working for the workshop, as well, even though she is not training with the team any longer.
Rhythm will soon settle in Florida for the winter training, where team videographer Justin Wageman will also be back in the active outdoor lineup. His video services were not needed in the flying chamber.
Niklas Hemlin was not the only Airspeed member who had also made the trip from Eloy to Raeford. Christopher Kuhlmann first traveled from Eloy back to his home in New York State before going south to North Carolina shortly after.
Airspeed XP8 was running one of their 4-on-4 camps, and Christopher Kuhlmann was one of the four player-coaches in the two different lineups. Jeana Billings, Kirk Verner and Brian Krause completed the teams on the coaches side, while a total of eight participants formed two different 8-way lineups.
Christopher Kuhlmann was in the XP8 lineup who won the and helped to qualify the 8-way team for the FAI Mondial 2020 next year. He was still in the XP8 lineup at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2019 before dropping the 8-way duties for an Airspeed 4-way slot.
Jeana Billings trains and competes in 4-way and 8-way both, as well. She had just returned from Eloy to her home in North Carolina and was back in action two weeks after the 4-way competition with XPG4. Kirk Verner was supporting XPG4 in Eloy and had the same travel agenda.
He and Brian Krause train and compete only in 8-way at the moment. This does not mean that they are not active in 4-way. The Indoor Cloud League update on December 3rd featured Jeana Billings, Brian Krause and Kirk Verner together with Matt Davidson live in 4-way action.
Indoor Cloud League organizer of the iFLY Dallas team Kyle Hermberg attended the Rhythm workshop, as well, together with his ICL assistant Michael Erickson. They had joined forces to post the AAA/AA scores and videos in November for the iFLY Dallas team.
