Did You Know...

... that the same 15 teams competed again in the Flyspot Liga?

Poland's national indoor and outdoor team: Flyspot Sky4four
posted Dec 23rd, 2020 - The NSL News just posted a new Indoor Cloud League update from the Czech Republic before turning to Poland, where the Flyspot Liga completed the December competition today.

It was the third time that the Flyspot wind-tunnels in Poland applied the same format as the one of the NSL Cloud Mondial, where the teams had a specific time-frame that they could use to perform the meet rounds. The Flyspot Liga gave the teams three weeks to complete the December meet (1st - 15th).

The Flyspot Liga adjusted the competition format for the same reason, as the corona virus pandemic had the same implications in Poland as everywhere else on the planet.

The NSL News had covered the previous two Flyspot meets on November 10th and on December 7th. The latest and last event of the year in Poland had the slowest competition draw, and none of the four AAA Class teams were able to match their previous meet averages of the year. The NSL News mentioned earlier that three of the same four teams are new to AAA Class competition. Only FlySpot Sky4Four, Poland's national indoor and outdoor champions, have been training and competing in this category since 2014.

Flyspot A Class awards in 2017
The same 15 teams who had participated in the November competition were back for the next eight rounds in December, including the three Czech teams. The leaderboards were also very similar to each other, even though there were some changes in each of the three NSL categories that Flyspot offered (AAA - A - RRR) the teams.

Flyspot One2Three and Flyspot Omega have been sharing the same leaderboards in the A Class and in the AA Class since November 2017. Both teams started in the Rookie Class at different times and eventually made their final step into AAA Class competition in November 2019 (Flyspot One2Three) and October 2020 (Flyspot Omega). The all-female Flyspot One2Three lineup were only one AAA Class meet ahead.

This year's three indoor events at Flyspot featured this exciting AAA Class duel that the MAD Team joined in November to squeeze themselves in between the top spot and the two other AAA Class contenders. MAD Team were still competing in the Rookie Class when Flyspot One2Three and Flyspot Omega began challenging each other in A/AA in November 2017.

MAD Team have now taken the spot behind FlySpot Sky4Four, while Flyspot One2Three and Flyspot Omega are in the middle of an exciting battle for the 3rd place. Flyspot Omega is leading by two points after the 24 rounds between October and December (432 - 430).

Rusalky's Indoor Cloud League December highscores
Smajilci at the Hurricane Factory
The Czech 4-way junior team Rusalky was shaking up the A Class leaderboard at Flyspot. Rusalky had made the trip to Poland each time and finished in 3rd place in October and 4th in November. Then they increased the meet average dramatically in November (9.4 - 11.9 - 18.4) to take the 2nd place.

Rusalky had also heavily contributed to the Indoor Cloud League December total of the Hurricane Factory, as the NSL News reported yesterday. Rusalky's 46 points for the RRR and RR sequences could be crucial for the Czech ICL team to maintain the 2020 top spot.

The four Polish A Class teams finished in the same perfect order as they did in November.

The RRR Class order was also perfectly identical with the November rankings, including the two other Czech teams, with the exception at the bottom of the Rookie Class leaderboard. That's where Stforki i Potforki and Tim Potepy swapped their positions. The same three Czech teams have now attended all three Flyspot meets in Poland, and the parents in the Moravian Flyers lineup have been showing impressive progression (4.1 - 7.6 - 11.3) from meet to meet, as their 4-way juniors have done (6.5 - 5.5 - 8.3) in the same category.
