Did You Know...

... that Kaos Theory is back with the complete lineup?

Kaos Theory XP in training with Jeana Billings
posted Feb 9th, 2021 - The upcoming Paraclete XP Indoor Championship (February 27 - 28) will be the third consecutive time that three Kaos Theory members attend this event. Anna Brunner, Preston James and Carl Kallgren started in the Rookie Class of the 2019 event, with Dallas Smith in the lineup at the team's first 4-way competition.

They competed under inXperience and won the Rookie Class competition over Burble's Edge. They moved up quickly to AA/Intermediate Class competition and competed with the same lineup at the Paraclete XP Summer Classic, followed by the USPA Nationals.

They were back at Paraclete XP a year after launching the team project. Anna Brunner, Preston James and Carl Kallgren had a new team mate with Jason McClure for Dallas Smith, and the team name had changed to F-5.

The new lineup won AA/Intermediate Class silver medals after a 1-point battle with the winning Barhons. F-5 had moved from a 17.0 average in the Rookie Class to a 19.1 average in the AA Class within a year.

As many other teams, F-5 were planning to attend the USPA Nationals at the end of the outdoor season, which were canceled shortly after the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship in February. The Paraclete XP Summer Classic neither took place in the summer, and the same lineup attended the Skydiving Nationals 2.0 online competition for a substitute outdoor competition in September.

It was not the same lineup performing the ten outdoor rounds on home turf at the Triangle Skydiving Center. Anna Brunner missed a meet with her team for the first time as she needed a knee surgery before flying again in a wind-tunnel or jump from planes.

Former Vega XP member Brandon Kashani was available to help out and stepped back into the AA Class for the Skydive Nationals 2.0 outdoor competition. It was now under Kaos Theory XP when they won the AA/Intermediate Class online competition.

It would probably have been difficult if not impossible for Anna Brunner to be back early enough for the USPA Nationals last year. The cancellation of the event gave her extra time to recover from the surgery.

Anna Brunner was back in full indoor action when the NSL News visited Paraclete XP at the end of January. Kaos Theory XP was training alongside a few other teams and a Rhythm indoor camp.

It was the complete current Kaos Theory XP lineup in training, and Jeana Billings was coaching the team.

The Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 will be the second competition with the same and current lineup, and any other AA/Intermediate Class teams will surely have to get past Kaos Theory XP to get to the top of the leaderboard.

Anna Brunner, Preston James and Carl Kallgren will compete the 3rd consecutive time at the Paraclete indoor event, and they are very familiar with the competition environment. Newest member Jason McClure is the most experienced 4-way competitor in the lineup. It seems obvious who is in the pole position at the upcoming event...
