One of the NMP PCH HayaBusa members, new inside center Michele Silvi, followed the live streaming action as much as possible, while his team mates took it easier and waited patiently until the video footage of the competition rounds would become available on NSL-TV.
The reigning 4-way indoor and outdoor world champions from Belgium had the opportunity to study the latest performance of their two U.S. opponents at the next world championships. SDC Rhythm XP is the U.S. national team in 4-way Open at the FAI Tanay Mondial 2020 this August, while Arizona Airspeed will compete for the U.S. indoor delegation in 4-way Open next year in Belgium.
Arizona Airspeed have won the U.S. indoor title four consecutive times since 2018, twice now with the current lineup. Christopher Kuhlmann and Joey Marshall started with the 29.5 average in February last year and now followed up with 31.5 last weekend.
Team videographer David Grauwels, HayaBusa's outdoor and indoor world champion inside center of 2014 - 2019, has provided his insights and knowledge several times on NSL Live Talk, as well as HayaBusa coach Gary Smith. This time, it was the active lineup alone visiting from four different locations in Belgium for the online conversation.
NMP PCH HayaBusa are hoping that they will be able to train again beginning in April. However, there is no guarantee yet that restrictions and limitations will be lifted and allow the team to restart their preparations for the FAI Tanay Mondial in August.
The U.S. teams are obviously in a better situation, and the Belgians were studying the current performances naturally with great interest. They provided their feedback and commentary on the latest NSL Live Talk, which was recorded this Wednesday.

Chris Kuhlmann had mentioned that he liked the outside center work better than his current slot assignment. He used to be outside center for Ranch 2nd Generation. He adjusted quickly after switching to inside center with Arizona Airspeed.
It is an interesting aspect that other top teams in the world went through the same changes, including NMP PCH HayaBusa. David Grauwels was outside center for the team until 2008 and switched to inside center when Luc Verstrepen did not continue, and his brother Andy Grauwels moved from point to outside center.
JaNette Lefkowitz started as SDC Rhythm XP's outside center and switched to the inside slot when Andrew Happick and Doug Barron joined the team in 2016. New inside center Christy Frikken used to be outside center for world-class team Perris Fury. New HayaBusa member Michele Silvi trained and competed as outside center for Italy's national 4-way team Amnesya before he replaced David Grauwels as the new Belgian inside center engine. He has competed only once in his new slot since October 2018. It was the NSL Cloud Mondial 2020 where he posted his first scores in the new slot...
