Did You Know...

... that XPG4's Brenn Richards was a new ICL player-coach for Paraclete XP in February?

Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League February team
posted Mar 23rd, 2021 - The month of February was very busy for the members of the Paraclete XP team delegation. The AZXP8, XP4 and XPG4 members and the whole Paraclete staff were engaged in the preparations for the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021, one way or another between training, coaching and logistics.

Then there were only a few weeks until at least AZXP8 and XPG4 would follow up with outdoor competition at the Shamrock Showdown 2021. At the same time, XPG4 team mates Jeana Billings and Morgan Womble organized once again the Indoor Cloud League events in February and March at Paraclete XP.

Both traveled to Arizona after the indoor championship to resume outdoor training, Jeana Billings first with AZXP8 for 8-way training. Morgan Womble followed her a few days later for XPG4 training, together with new member Brenn Richards and team videographer Andres Mesa. As Jeana Billings, Michelle Karamon is also training and competing in 8-way.

Jeana Billings and Morgan Womble had already completed their Indoor Cloud League event in February, together with their new XPG4 team mate Brenn Richards, before they attended the two competitions together. Brenn Richards added her name as ICL player-coach to Paraclete XP's team roster for the first time. Together with Michelle Karamon and Andres Mesa on camera they traveled to Florida last week and completed their first four rounds of outdoor competition at Skydive City last weekend.

Jeana Billings, Morgan Womble and Brenn Richards had another prominent 4-way and 8-way competitor as a player-coach in their ICL lineup for February. In fact, it was reigning USPA 4-way champion Doug Barron, SDC Rhythm XP's tail, who can be seen on Paraclete XP's February leaderboard.

Doug Barron performed the two Open Class sequences (AAA/AA) together with Jeana Billings, Morgan Womble and Brenn Richards, and he was player-coaching two other lineups to Paraclete XP's February highscores in the A Class and in the RRR Class.

Jeana Billings (Outside Center), Morgan Womble (Point) and Brenn Richards (Tail) performed the two Open Class sequences in their XPG4 slots. Doug Barron had to fill the open inside center slot that Michelle Karamon has with her own team.

Christy Frikken is SDC Rhythm XP's inside center, and Doug Barron is her piece partner in the tail slot. He was in his inside center B-slot in the rear piece with tail Brenn Richards for both ICL sequences.

XPG4 on weather hold at Skydive City
All four ICL player-coaches were back in outdoor action at the Shamrock Showdown 2021, even though SDC Rhythm XP did not attend the event at Skydive City. Jeana Billings, Morgan Womble and Brenn Richards had Michelle Karamon in her inside center slot for the outdoor battle with Skydive Midwest NEXT.

XPG4 and SDMW NEXT recently shared three leaderboards within a month. NEXT performed two of ICL sequences in February for the ICL Midwest team, competed at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 and then at the Shamrock Showdown. They tied the AAA/AA scores with the modified XPG4 lineup on the ICL February leaderboard and won by two points after Round 4 at the Shamrock Showdown.

Doug Barron had his own AAA Class battle with Quiet Riot at the same event. His 8-way team mates Ben Liston and Doug Hendrix were the direct opponents with CPI Legacy, and the team from New England was one point ahead after Round 4.

Then they joined forces for Rhythm 8, just as their 4-way opponents Doug Barron, Scott Latinis and Brian Ball did. The same Rhythm 8 lineup has more plans for the entire 2021 season.
