... that three ICL Midwest lineups posted scores and videos for the six May sequences?

Not on the ICL May leaderboard: Additional ICL Midwest lineup
posted Jun 3rd, 2021 - The Indoor Cloud League team of the Midwest region posted new scores and videos for the May sequences. Skydive Midwest NEXT members Lauren Byrd and Greg Oldendick had four different lineups at their May event who competed for the highscores in the six ICL categories.

SDMW NEXT took care once again of the two Open Class sequences (AAA/AA), and two of the other four lineups made it onto the May leaderboard. SDMW NEXT member Greg Oldendick guided Nathan Handegan, Ken Serrine and Brennan Smith to the two highscores for the A and RRR sequences. His NEXT teammate Lauren Byrd player-coached Katherine Vercellino, Nate Wetter Taylor and Stanley Bukala to the other two highscores (RR/R).

The ICL Midwest team eventually needed only three lineups for scores and videos in all six categories. The Indoor Cloud League rules and regulations allow the same lineup to post scores in two neighboring categories.

The ICL events include two more categories, which offer the beginners in the sport the opportunity to learn and train the 4-way basics and still be a part of 4-way competition events. There they can watch the top performers live in action and work together with them on the total score for their team. The top performers are usually also player-coaching the other lineups.

Most of the participants are skydivers who are ready to join 4-way or 8-way teams and/or use the Indoor Cloud League events to improve their individual and team skills. The events and the Indoor Cloud League teams also have a networking function and have been connecting future team mates regularly.

Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League team is well supported by the wind-tunnel, and the bridge between indoor and outdoor activities is a part of the successful cooperation. It is no surprise that Paraclete XP has been the ICL top team in the United States for a long time.

The ICL Midwest team has been challenging Paraclete XP after entering the Indoor Cloud League in August 2020, and the competition of both teams has put pressure on the Czech Indoor Cloud League team at Prague's Hurricane Factory, the leader on annual ICL leaderboards in the past years.

It has become increasingly difficult for ICL teams at iFLY locations to manage and conduct their activities, due to new corporate rules and regulations. The recent restart momentum could be be slowing down for ICL teams at iFLY locations and leave the top spots for Paraclete XP and other participating wind-tunnels.
