It was a different competition draw that the participating teams had for the Cloud Games, which created two different leaderboards with teams applying the two draws at several different locations. The Cloud Games turned out to be a combination of twelve U.S. teams at different locations, most of them in the Midwest Skydiving League area, and three teams in Mexico.
Skydive Midwest NEXT and AZ Defiance used the AAA Class competition draw and were still separated on the Cloud Games leaderboards, which applied USPA's 4-way Open and 4-way Advanced categories both. They had no 
opposition in their respective events.
SDMW NEXT had attended their first outdoor meet with the new lineup at the Shamrock Showdown 2021, where only four rounds could be completed due to the weather situation. NEXT could now follow up with ten completed rounds in the Midwest summer on home turf. AZ Defiance completed the team's 5th meet this year, after four previous events of the Arizona Skydiving League.

Mom x TreShaun have been a regular at the meets of the Texas Skydiving League and did not have to leave Spaceland San Marcos to complete the ten rounds in the AA/Intermediate Class. The first TSL meet this year in April was hosted by Spaceland San Marcos, as well.
The nine A Class teams outnumbered the combination of 4-way Open/4-way Advanced/4-way Intermediate (6) all together, which was supported by three teams in Mexico. It was USPA's new 4-way Beginner category that attracted six U.S. teams to test the 4-way waters.
Skydive Chicago had offered the NSL Rookie Class at last year's Skydiving Nationals 2.0, which had also copied the NSL format of synchronized competition draws to connect events at different locations. There was no Rookie Class this year, and the A Class/4-way Beginner event was the new entry level.

the Cloud Games, not only due to the highest participation. The nine teams had a more compressed leaderboard (1.7 - 5.0) than the two other events.
The two top teams were even tied after Round 6, which was the last round of the regular competition. The teams in USPA's 4-way Beginner category will complete six rounds at the national championships, as well. However, D.a.Danielson and Anion Flux agreed to an extra round to break the tie and did so in Round 7.
The jump-off round was just as much decided by video issues for the Florida team, as the scoring numbers of both teams were heavily impacted by the performance of the videographers. The judges cannot apply different standards for teams on lower experience levels, as they have only the video evidence to evaluate the team performance and award scoring points or not.
The winning team lost a total of 12 points in the first six rounds, compared to eight point deductions for Anion Flux. Then the heaviest loss of six points in the extra round was the most costly one for Anion Flux, who ended up in 2nd place after the remote jump-off. The team was formed this year and trains in Sebastian, with plans to attend the USPA Nationals in the same category.
