Did You Know...

... that all six Czech Indoor Cloud League highscores in July were posted by 4-way juniors?

Incomplete lineup: Flying Circus with Jan Klapka for Dagmar Bezděková
posted Aug 9th, 2021 - The FAI Tanay Mondial 2020 will receive the deserved attention in the coming days, even though the event is much smaller than it was originally planned and expected to be. The first live update from Tanay in Siberia is in the works, with correspondent Gary Smith recording and commenting interesting live footage.

The NSL News will still try to cover other events, which have recently taken place and will continue to happen at the same time. One of them connects the outdoor event in Russia indirectly with the Indoor Cloud League competition of July.

The Czech national team Flying Circus was planning to compete in Tanay and was registered for the event. Flying Circus focused mainly on outdoor training to get ready for the FAI Tanay Mondial 2020 and did not contribute to the Hurricane Factory's monthly indoor point collection.

An unfortunate injury eventually got in the way of the team's plans for the world meet, and Flying Circus withdrew from the event, as the NSL News mentioned earlier.

First AAA Class score: HF Flying Rebels
Jan Klapka had to joggle the assignments for the six ICL categories (AAA - AA - A - RRR - RR - R) without any of his usual high-scoring teams for the Open Class sequences (AAA/AA).

It was the new national team in 4-way Junior, HF Flying Rebels, who took on a AAA Class sequence for the first time and posted an impressive 18-pointer.

The dive pool of the FAI/ISC 4-way Junior category is identical with the AA Class of the NSL and does not include any slot-switching blocks.

The HF Flying Rebels are training for the next indoor world meet where they will try to defend the Czech gold medals in 4-way Junior.

The HF Flying Rebels covered the two Open Class sequences and had the Czech highscore for the A Class, as well, together with the 4-way juniors of HF Invisible. The second junior lineup added the total of 51 points for the RRR and RR sequences, after capping the RR score at the maximum of 25 points.

4-way Junior team Rusalky completed the highscores with the 16-pointer for the A Class sequence. It was the first time in the history of the Indoor Cloud League that the complete set of six sequences were scored by 4-way junior teams.
