Did You Know...

... that the Swedish indoor competition videos feature Echochamber's previous lineup in action?

Echochamber at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2021
posted Oct 18th, 2021 - The NSL News update after the Swedish indoor Nationals 2021 pointed out how the lineups of the three AAA Class teams went through their respective personnel changes. NSL-TV now follows up with the competition videos of the indoor event.

National team Echochamber Oceanside transitioned from outdoor to indoor training and competition with two different lineups. The video of the outdoor championship is featuring new member Ann-Marie Jarzebowski in her point slot that she is filling for original member Johan Edvall. The indoor videos are then featuring Johan Edvall back in the point slot that he has been flying for Echochamber since the team was formed in 2016.

The transition of the outdoor lineup from point Johan Edvall to point Ann-Marie Jarzebowski went even better than Echochamber had expected. The new point started with an 18.0 average, which was not far behind Echochamber's last outdoor scores (18.9) at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2019. It was Ann-Marie Jarzebowski's new personal best, after the 17.7 that she had posted with Kinetix at the same event.

The reverse transition to the indoor lineup at the Swedish Indoor Nationals this month was similarly smooth. Johan Edvall, Ulf Liljenbäck, Mattias Nord and Rikard Rodensjö finished not far behind their own previous 26.1 average at the Wind Games in January 2020.

In the meantime, Echochamber had also connected with Mike Vetter, the owner of the Oceanside skydiving center in California. Team member Ulf Liljenbäck has known Mike Vetter, a former member of the Swiss national 4-way team, for many years by running skydiving centers and operating jump planes.

Mike Vetter invited Echochamber to conduct their winter training in California, and the Swedes will use the opportunity twice, the first time for upcoming winter training, and then again for the last preparations before next year's world meet in Eloy, Arizona.

The other two videos of the Swedish Indoor Nationals are also showing another Echochamber member in action. Aurora member Zoltan Hubsch was training with Echochamber this summer. Sweden's national team had asked him to train with the team indoors and outdoors and possibly replace injured Johan Edvall at the FAI Tanay Mondial 2020. Ann-Marie Jarzebowski was not eligible to compete for Sweden at that time.

The tryout was successful, and Echochamber invited Zoltan Hubsch to join Echochamber for more training and the competition in Tanay. However, he could not commit to the whole Echochamber plan of action. The Swedish team eventually withdrew from the world meet.
