posted Dec 29th, 2021 - The Indoor Cloud League team of iFLY Dallas, organized by Kyle Hermberg, has made the next step towards finishing on the top of the 2021 leaderboard with a new record total.

The NSL News explained on December 6th that it would take the Texas ICL team only two more average scoring numbers on the Indoor Cloud League leaderboards for the remaining two months of the year to get beyond the 1,272 ICL points that iFLY Dallas posted for the 2016 season. Four different lineups combined for the 115 ICL points that Kyle Hermberg added to the total for the month of November, which is almost exactly the average number for the iFLY Dallas team since June this year.

The current total of 1,207 ICL points for the year has already secured the top spot on the 2021 leaderboard before the end of the month, and Kyle Hermberg will soon add the missing scores and videos for December. It seems to be guaranteed that he will finish with a new iFLY Dallas record total, as his ICL team is only 66 points away from the highest annual total that iFLY Dallas has posted since joining the Indoor Cloud League in May 2014.

Once again, USPA Intermediate Class 2021 champion Dallas Dynasty was instrumental in adding the 115 ICL points for the month of November to the 2021 total. The team's indoor lineup, with Kyle Hermberg in Lucas King's outside center slot, posted the total of 29 points for the two 4-way Open Class sequences (AAA/AA), and all four team members were guiding the other three lineups through the additional four sequences as player-coaches.

All members of the Dynasty indoor lineup are still eligible for Intermediate Class sequences (AA/A). They use the AAA sequences to practice their entry into Open/Advanced Class competition in the near future, where slot-switchers and 5- and 6-point sequences are the standard.

Aaron Perkins and Michael Erickson had Deanna Anderson and Pressly Bonner in their A Class lineup and added a total of 37 points to the iFLY Dallas account. The Indoor Cloud League rules allow participants to perform A/RRR/RR/R sequences until they have scored 25 points or higher twice. Only Dynasty member Caden Maydew has yet scored higher than 25 points, once in June this year.

His team mates Aaron Perkins and Michael Erickson are also both still eligible to score 25+ for A and RRR sequences as participants, while they are player-coaches for other Rookie Class lineups at the same time. They were back together in the 14-foot flying chamber with Alexa Boushey and Sydney Ward for the 29-pointer in the R Class, which was capped at 25 for the monthly total. Kyle Hermberg and Caden Maydew scored the 24-pointer for the RR Class sequence as player-coaches for Christina Edwards and Sarah Watson.
