Did You Know...

... that XPG4 have a very busy month of February?

New ICL competitor Will Cabrera with XPG4 members
posted Feb 25th, 2022 - Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League team managed to squeeze in five of the six sequences for the month of February in the middle of the preparations for the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2022, which begins with the release of the competition draw tonight. Round 1 in all 4-way events is scheduled for tomorrow morning.

The new XPG4 lineup, with former Kaos Theory XP member Anna Brunner in the lineup as inside center, were in the middle of an indoor team training camp when the Indoor Cloud League event was scheduled. Team member Brenn Richards is recently managing the ICL activities for Paraclete XP and was able to accommodate both 4-way events, with the help of her team mates.

In fact, all current XPG4 members were player-coaching the three lineups who performed the five posted sequences. Other teams were also in training for the upcoming indoor championships and did not take on the February sequences.

The XPG4 members used the opportunity to introduce new participants to 4-way training and competition. Brenn Richards said that one of the newest participants, Will Cabrera, took on all three Rookie Class sequences and mastered them very successfully, with two of the Paraclete XP highscores for February.

XPG4 performed the Open Class sequence (AAA) earlier this month and will probably add their own best score to the leaderboard later. The ICL teams still have the whole month of February to submit their scores and videos.

Mike Taylor has attended several Indoor Cloud League events at Paraclete XP before and performed his first technical sequences, with three blocks in the AA and A Class sequences, after going through the Rookie Class dive pool at the earlier events.

New ICL competitors Will Cabrera and Fahad Saifullah will not compete at the indoor championships, while Keith Kramer will be back for the 10-round competition. He went through 8-way Hell Week with one of the Veloce lineups and 8-way world-champion player-coach Brian Krause.

XPG4 will probably be a part of the 4-way Open Class battle behind Arizona Airspeed. It's the first competition for the new lineup, as it is for SDC Rhythm XP and Golden Knights. Skydive Midwest NEXT could be the top contender for the 2nd place on the 4-way Open Class leaderboard this year. There does not seem to be any opposition for XPG4 in the qualification as the U.S. national indoor team in 4-way Women.
