posted Apr 8th, 2022 - The event place of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022, Airspace Charleroi, is not as busy any longer as soon as the 4-way teams are done with their rounds, even though the artistic events are very popular for the audience and well attended.

Many of the 4-way teams usually prepare the next rounds before leaving the windtunnel, while others do the same wherever they are accommodated. However, the creeping area at the event site is probably the only location where this part of performance preparation can be done.

Two teams still used the creeper pad when the artistic competition rounds began in the afternoon, Spain's national team in 4-way Open, Papea Masculino, and Italy's 4-way team in 4-way Women, Squadra Militare Femminile.

NMP PCH HayaBusa member Michele Silvi was coaching the team when the NSL News visited the creeping area for the last time on Friday. He is originally from Italy, and he is helping the 4-way Women team in Charleroi. In fact, he even met his former Amnesya team mates at the event site and now shares the 4-way Open Class leaderboard with the Italian team. NMP PCH HayaBusa is currently 64 points ahead of Amnesya after Round 8 (257 - 193).

Italy's 4-way Open Class team Amnesya on the other hand is 81 more points (193 - 112) ahead of the country's 4-way Women team, which is no surprise.

The Squadra Militare Femminile is attending their first AAA Class competition. They competed in the AA Class of the Italian Indoor Nationals 2021 in October last year and followed up in the same category at the Belgian Indoor Nationals in December.

They could surely need Michele Silvi's help, who also still speaks the same language. They have now the military services in common, the 4-way Women team in Italy, Michele Silvi in Belgium. They will attend the CISM World Championships together this year. Michele Silvi's former Amnesya team mate Chiara Brunetti was helping the team at Italy's indoor championships.

The lineup is a combination of Italian "carabinieri" police, with Captain Irene Orivella Micelotta, and her three team mates of the Italian army. All team members jump from planes, as well, and they compete in the other events at the military world championships.

The Squadra Militare Femminile is in 6th place at their first AAA Class competition, and they are holding off the Dutch Fatal Four so far.
