Did You Know...

... that Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League lineups connect with the indoor world cup?

Paraclete XP's AAA/AA lineup in March
posted Apr 16th, 2022 - 4-way indoor coverage continues with an Indoor Cloud League update. The Paraclete XP team added scores and videos for March and April to the leaderboards, and there is actually an indirect connection with the just completed FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 in Charleroi, Belgium.

The Paraclete XP videos feature two different AAA/AA lineups in March and April, which are loaded with national and world champions from the United States, while the reigning U.S. indoor champions of Arizona Airspeed took officially the number one position of the indoor world in Charleroi.

However, Arizona Airspeed is not the connection between the Indoor Cloud League events at Paraclete XP and the indoor world cup. Paraclete XP's March lineup for the two Open Class sequences (AAA/AA) consisted of Michelle Karamon, Anna Brunner, Steve Lefkowitz and Mike Conners.

The two XPG4 members (Michelle Karamon, Anna Brunner) were probably carefully watching and studying the performance of the French national team in 4-way Women, the Nephtys, who will be their outdoor opponent at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving this October in Eloy.

XPG4 and Nephtys are competing for their countries at indoor and outdoor events both, and they have already met each other once at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2019. The lineups were different three years ago when Nephtys won the indoor world championship title.

The April lineup of Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League team features the other two XPG4 members, Jeana Billings and Brenn Richards, performing the AAA/AA sequences, together with Kirk Verner and Mike Conners.

Only Michelle Karamon and Jeana Billings competed with XPG4 against the Nephtys at the indoor world meet at Weembi Lille in 2019. Morgan Womble and Katrina Autry Shows completed the lineup. It was the same event where Michelle Karamon and Jeana Billings won the 8-way competition with XP8. Brian Krause, Steve Lefkowitz and Kirk Verner were their team mates at Weembi Lille, and they were also in Paraclete XP's ICL lineups for March and April.

The two XPG4 members of 2019 had only two Nephtys of the current lineup as their opponents at Weembi Lille, Elise Poindron and Pamela Lissajoux. The NSL News mentioned earlier that Pamela Lissajoux replaced Jessica Thebault after an injury. Pamela Lissajoux, Elise Poindron and Jessica Thebault are in the current lineup, with Gaelle Giesen completing it, and with Matthieu Roux on camera.

Nephtys Weembi - XPG4 at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2019
Nephtys 2019 lineup with Julien Degen
The indoor world cup is over, and the Nephtys of 2022 were not able to defend their world meet title of 2019 successfully, as the HF Cubs finished with an even higher meet average than the Nephtys posted three years ago. However, the French 27.2 in Charleroi is still significantly higher than XPG4's 24.6 at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2022, which guarantees the special XPG4 interest in the French performance.

Michelle Karamon and Jeana Billings have also met two of their French outdoor opponents at the FAI Tanay Mondial 2020. Gaelle Giesen was in the French 8-way lineup and finished one point behind XP8 after seven rounds. Pamela Lissajoux competed only in 4-way in Tanay. She and Gaelle Giesen together missed the top spot by two points in 4-way Women.

No XPG4 members competed in 4-way in Russia, where Aviatrixx represented the United States in 4-way Women. The Nephtys are switching to outdoor training and competition now, as the NSL News reported on April 14th. XPG4 have trained at Skydive Arizona with coach Niklas Hemlin during the winter season.

Of all Nephtys and XPG4 members, Pamela Lissajoux is the only 4-way Women competitor who has already one outdoor world championship title in her belt, which she won in Australia 2018. Gaelle Giesen was the alternate for the Weembi Girls, who won with a 25.7 average. The gold medal level in Eloy may be slightly lower than that...
