posted May 6th, 2022 - The NSL News covered the participation of the two teams from Brazil at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022, INIT-Y and So Pressao, with the update on May 1st. A third team from Brazil, Netunos MB, were a part of the story, after competing at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2022 in February.

Netunos MB now followed up with eight of the ten NSL Network rounds for the month of May. The 12-foot flying chamber at iFLY Sao Paulo does not allow the performance of the complete FAI/ISC dive pool, however, Netunos completed eight rounds, as teams of the Brazil Tunnel League have been doing in the past years.

the Brazilian team initiated the World Tunnel League leaderboard for the month of May, which will soon be joined by the Czech 4-way teams who have their last indoor meet of the winter season scheduled for May 11th.

Result of the 8-round performance of Netunos MB was a new team record average, as the they touched the 21-average benchmark for the first time.

Netunos MB - Brazil Tunnel League May 2022

Netunos MB are an indoor/outdoor team, who won the bronze medals at the national outdoor championships in September last year. Alisson Vargas, member of Brazil's national indoor and outdoor team IMIT-Y, is coaching Netunos MB.

Alisson Vargas has also been filling slots for Netunos in the past and knows the team very well. He recently competed with his own team at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022, where INIT-Y were in contention for the Top 10 positions, as the NSL News reported on April 8th.

Alisson Vargas has a twin brother who has just joined the 4-way competition world with his own team, S.A.G.A. who have recently started their team career in the RRR Class. The NSL News will soon follow up with this latest 4-way family relationship.

The first May scores of Netunos MB are now waiting for challenges on the AAA Class leaderboard.
