posted May 21st, 2022 - The outdoor season of the year has been in full swing with training and the first competitions, and the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 was the last major event of the indoor season, even though its NSL News coverage is not complete yet.

There are still a few teams and videos that have not been featured yet, and the ten rounds of the Swiss team Windwerk EOS complete at least the 4-way Women leaderboard.

The NSL News has presented the details of the German 4-way Women duel between Piteraq and Skynamite from several different angles, which began at the German Indoor Nationals 2019. The second duel between the two German teams at the Fly Challenge in February 2020 was the last competition before the corona virus crisis began.

The same indoor competition in Munich, Germany, was also the starting point of the Windwerk EOS 4-way team from Switzerland, who competed in 4-way Women at the indoor world cup at Airspace Charleroi in April.

The first meet for EOS was followed by the corona virus crisis break until the Swiss teams had a comeback at their own national indoor championship in November 2021. EOS then joined the two German 4-way Women teams again, first at the German Indoor Nationals 2022 in March, followed by the indoor world cup in April.

Windwerk EOS was separated from Piteraq and Skynamite by two teams at the first encounter in February 2020, and the scoring difference was accordingly significant (197 - 183 - 158). Only one other German team separated all three 4-way Women teams at this year's national indoor championships, and the difference was slightly smaller, as well (223 - 215 - 186).

The same two German teams and EOS finally ended up right next to each other on their own 4-way Women leaderboard in Charleroi, even though the order was different, compared to February 2020, when Skynamite was ahead of Piteraq and EOS.

Piteraq had now taken the top spot in Germany's 4-way Women duel, with EOS still behind both German teams.

It was the same ranking order that the same three teams had seen on the leaderboard of the German indoor nationals a month earlier this year. However, the difference at the indoor world cup was once again slightly smaller than before (226 - 219 - 193).

Windwerk EOS were not able to match the pace of the two German teams in any of the ten rounds this time, after they had tied the 17-pointers of Piteraq and Skynamite in the last round of this year's German indoor nationals.

They were close again in Round 6 where another slow sequence (2,13,8) made it more difficult to create differences in the scoring numbers. The sequence of the three 17-pointers (18,20,13) had created a similar situation, where EOS could keep close.

Piteraq and Windwerk EOS have attended only indoor meets exclusively, while Skynamite will also appear again on outdoor leaderboards. The next encounter between the same three teams may have to wait until the indoor season resumes competition activities at the end of the year.
