Did You Know...

... that British and Czech AAA teams finished in perfect order last weekend?

AAA Class awards in Most
posted Jun 6th, 2022 - The next synchronized meet weekend of the year in the NSL Network brought together 4-way teams from the Czech Republic and Great Britain, where Skydive Langar hosted the second meet of the UK Skydiving League. The three Czech teams completed their ten rounds at the skydiving center in Most.

Skydive Langar is Chimera's home DZ, and the British national team in 4-way Open used the opportunity to post their first 20+ average after five rounds on the British part of the AAA Class leaderboard.

The international AAA Class competition featured three teams from each country, who placed in perfect order taking turns in the rankings. The Czech national team in 4-way Open, HF Flying Circus, has not had much outdoor training after the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022, where Chimera did not compete, and the British team was far ahead after their five rounds last weekend. Chimera already completed outdoor training with coach Niklas Hemlin at Skydive Arizona in April.

The two national teams of their respective countries confirmed their top positions without much opposition. Chimera launched their 2022 competition season with a team record average, and HF Flying Circus are at a similar starting position as in the past years.

AAA Class awards in Langar
The ranking order on the AAA Class leaderboard was the same after the five rounds in Langar as it was after the ten rounds in Most. Only the Czech Dream Team stole a highscore from British team Vantage in the middle of the AAA Class field in Round 4.

Dream Team member Sabina Ciolekova was not available for the first Czech outdoor competition this year. The NSL News had covered her 4-way career from 4-way Junior with the HF Cubs to the FAI indoor world championship title and the transition to outdoor training and competition on 5 July 2021.

She continued with the HF Cubs and won the next FAI gold medal in 4-way Women at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022. The Dream Team was back without her last weekend, and Jan Klapka filled the slot for his second ten rounds. He is also a long-time member of the M Team.

HF Flying Circus turned out to be the only team on last weekend's leaderboard who competed indoors at Airspace Charleroi at the beginning of April and outdoors five weeks later. In between the two events, HF Flying Circus had also won the last meet of the Czech Tunnel League
