David Grauwels said that his team was in the middle of a training camp at the Spa Skydiving Center. He also explained that new inside center Neal Willems has actually been using his weekends and off-days from the military boot camp to train with the team.
The NSL News met with NMP PCH HayaBusa's complete lineup on ZOOM only four days later at the end of a 3-day weekend for Neal Willems. Monday, June 6th, was a holiday in Belgium, and he had an extra day off after the weekend. HayaBusa had completed 11 jumps after a rainy start in the morning, and they took the extra time at the end of the day to provide the latest live update from Belgium.
NMP PCH HayaBusa's CISM videographer Koen Vangestel was filming the team until the winds picked up to a level where his military parachute was not sufficient any longer, and David Grauwels took over on camera at that point. All six current members of the CISM and civilian lineup combination were in action, with Neal Willems in the inside center slot throughout the whole day.

Neal Willems has less than four weeks left to finish his military boot camp. NMP PCH HayaBusa is not even training for the CISM championships whenever he is available, as David Grauwels will perform in front of the camera at the end of the month in Austria.
The five HayaBusa members went through their military training in different ways. Dennis Praet and Jeroen Nollet joined the Belgian military services before they began skydiving. They were 16 years of age when they decided to go to military school and launch a military career. Their military education was not related to their athletic future with NMP PCH HayaBusa.
David Grauwels absolved his boot camp together with almost the complete HayaBusa lineup of 2006 (Sven Ibens, Roy Janssen, David and Andy Grauwels). Only Sven Ibens did not make the same transition from civilian to military skydiving as a sponsored athlete. Michele Silvi and Neal Willems now followed the same path that Hayabusa started in 2007.

The online event is nothing new for NMP PCH HayaBusa, as they were a part of the NSL Cloud Mondial 2020, as well, an online event that the NSL created after the cancellation and rescheduling of the FAI world championships in 2020. The event was based on the experiences of many years with the international NSL 4-way Network.
The same three teams who placed on the top of the 2020 leaderboard (NMP PCH HayaBusa, Arizona Airspeed, Qatar Tigers) will be back at the end of July for a similar test before the next world meet. Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm XP together kept the Qatar Tigers from claiming one of the Top 3 positions in 2020.
SDC Rhythm XP were still ahead at the FAI Tanay Mondial 2020, where the Qatar Tigers won the first 4-way medals for their country. At least NMP PCH HayaBusa, Arizona Airspeed and Qatar Tigers will check out their current situation three months before the next world meet, and all other 4-way teams are invited to join either the live event at Skydive Spaceland Houston or the online event on the NSL Cloud.
