Did You Know...

... that competition videos from the Czech Republic feature the Dream Team in action?

Czech AAA Class silver medals: Dream Team
posted Aug 24th, 2022 - The NSL News reported earlier this week that two more Czech 4-way juniors posted their first outdoor scores. Reigning FAI 4-way Junior World Cup champion Martin Stransky, Inside Center for the HF Flying Rebels, and bronze medalist Filip Lukavec (HF Chameleons) competed with the Czech Dream Team at the Czech Open Outdoor Championship last week.

The OmniSkore!HD competition videos from Prostejov are now showing the two youngest Czech outdoor competitors in action, Martin Stransky in the Inside Center slot, Filip Lukavec in the Point slot. The same videos are also showing how the teams and their videographers were struggling with the exits from the jump plane, the same L-410 Turbolet that was used at the FAI Tanay Mondial and at the world meet in Prostejov 2014.

The Dream Team with the two 4-way juniors did not have a single round without point deductions related to video issues. The lineup with Martin Stransky and Filip Lukavec would have comfortably matched or improved the 10.2 average that Sabina Ciolekova, FAI 4-way Junior world champion of 2019, posted with the Dream Team in August 2021.

Dana Stankova, who has been training and competing with 4-way senior team Accord for many years, and Bad Boys member Marian Jeziak were in the Dream Team lineup when Sabina Ciolekova entered the outdoor competition world in the Point slot. Hanka Opalkova had completed the lineup in August last year.

Dramatic RRR Class finish: Mismas
The competition videos from the Czech Republic are also featuring the first outdoor rounds of the Hungarian team Bronteroc with the current lineup. The NSL News reported during the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 that Bronteroc member Gabor Kiss, 22 years of age and son of his team mate Jozsef Kiss, made his first skydive last year. The NSL News records are showing only Bronteroc scores at two previous indoor meets, beginning at the Czech Indoor Nationals in January this year.

The videos of the RRR Class teams are featuring a dramatic finish between Wolf Pack, visiting team from Slovakia, and Czech home team Mismas in the last round of the meet.

The second team from Slovakia, Gang Bang, were already miles ahead when Wolf Pack and Mismas went into Round 8, which would turn out as the end of the competition in Prostejov. Mismas were four points ahead after seven competitive rounds between the Slovakian and the Czech team.

It seemed like a very realistic opportunity to win the duel and split the two visiting teams on the RRR Class leaderboard. The 0-pointer changed the rankings in the last minute of the competition. However, Mismas increased their average significantly after the 1.5 in July, as they still finished with 3.6 even after the 0 for the last round.
