posted Oct 5th, 2022 - The runup to the USPA Nationals 2022 was not only challenging for XPG4 and their additional activities with the Indoor Cloud League. The situation was the same for all participants and organizers who are involved with indoor and outdoor events both.

Skydive Midwest NEXT members have been organizing the Indoor Cloud League events in the midwest region. Emily Bombardi and Eric Daniel added ICL events at iFLY Colorado Springs and re-activated outdoor competition for the Colorado Skydiving League, while competing in several events at the USPA Nationals.

4-way teams and competitors from Texas have always participated in indoor and outdoor events both throughout the whole year, and the proximity to the USPA Nationals has an impact on the ICL events, as well.

Kyle Hermberg, Indoor Cloud League organizer of the iFLY Dallas team is exclusively a 4-way indoor competitor, most recently with Dallas Dynasty. He had at least one complete team available before the USPA Nationals, as Dallas Valkyrie has only been participating at indoor events so far. In fact, Valkyrie won the 4-way A/Beginner Class competition at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2022.

Kyle Hermberg said that Dallas Valkyrie continue with the same lineup, and they are planning to return to Paraclete XP for the 2023 event. They would have to make the next step to AA/Intermediate Class competition after winning the A/Beginner Class this year. Dallas Valkyrie performed the RRR Class sequence for the ICL team that Kyle Hermberg was able to put together in August.

Kyle Hermberg had Dallas Distraction member Deanna Anderson in his own AA/A Class lineup, together with ICL regular Caleb Rydbeck and former Spaceland Toxic member Randy Morgan. They took care of the two monthly Intermediate Class sequences (AA/A) in August.

Donaldo Grajeda and Lucas King player-coached visiting 4-way competitor Olga Munding and Tarynn Ecton through the other two of the three Rookie Class sequences (RR/R). Former Dallas 350 member Lucas King did not compete in 4-way at the USPA Nationals this year. He won 8-way Intermediate Class silver medals with Texas team Partially Disturbed. Then he followed up with Dallas Disturbance and a bronze medal in 16-way a day later, before finishing in 10-way Speed with Who is Jesse King?
