The last two rounds have been completed successfully, and the clouds have come back. It was a magic weather break that allowed the host in Protejov and Manifester Bryan Burke to get it all done just in time.
France Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge clearly won the World Cup 2009 after a great performance. Hayabusa Defence woke up in Rounds 9 and 10 with two highscores. One more Belgian point got lost in Round 10.
Hayabusa has one year now to find out what went well in the last two rounds and then do that all the time. The Belgian team will probably show more of that already at the Shamrock Showdown 2010.
Germany's 10-pointer has its own story. Center Inside Jörn Thiele had to leave before Round 10, and alternate Olaf Biedermann was not on competition site after filling an Eisenach-Paratec slot at the beginning of the meet. The German national team's only option for Round 10 was bringing videographer Alexander "Dude" Hau into full action.
Chicas' videographer Mark "Euro" Evert filled in on camera, and the new competitor in the Eisenach lineup did his job to win the unofficial amateur championship. The crowd cheered for each point that Eisenach scored.
The videos of Round 10 conclude the NSL News coverage from Prostejov. There will be many more stories going back to the event later.
