posted Mar 8th, 2023 - The Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Colorado added the second set of scores and videos to the February leaderboard. Three Air Force Academy teams and two civilian lineups combined once again for the total of 85 points last month.

The three Air Force Academy teams had their next internal competition for the monthly highscores, this time only for the two Open Class sequences (AAA/AA). Tall Boys, 9-Ball and Artemis had the same Air Force Academy competition in January in all three technical categories (AAA/AA/A) and the 9-Ball seniors won (63 - 53 - 52).

Last month, the Tall Boys cadets won after the total for the two sequences (38 - 36 - 31) and posted the iFLY Colorado highscores for both categories, as well.

The Air Force Academy teams could not challenge the scores of the HF Cubs and HF Flying Rebels in the Czech Republic's Hurricane Factory, who are getting ready for the battle for medals in 4-way Women and 4-way Junior at the FAI Indoor World Championship. It was one of the two civilian lineups at iFLY Colorado (Emily Bombardi, Jarrod Arronda, Eric Daniel, Kevin Chapman) who tied one of the Czech highscores in the A Class.

The two other and arguably strongest Air Force Academy teams, Night Fury and Zorro, were preparing for their performances at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship in February. There they won gold and silver medals in 4-way Advanced, as the NSL News reported on March 6th.

All five Air Force Academy teams had competed for Indoor Cloud League highscores in October last year. 9-Ball, Night Fury and Zorro had already moved up to AAA Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2022 at that time. Tall Boys, Artemis and PoisEN attended the same event in the AA/Intermediate Class.

The performances and scores for the Indoor Cloud League month of February indicate that at least Tall Boys and Artemis may join 9-Ball, Night Fury and Zorro on USPA's Advanced Class leaderboard this year, if the Air Force Academy sends all five teams to the national outdoor championship.

The Air Force teams could push each other to the USPA medal level in 4-way Advanced, where Night Fury and Zorry won gold and silver at the national indoor championship last month. The USPA medal level in 4-way Advanced began at 14.3 at Skydive Chicago last year.

As some of the best 4-way teams in the world (NMP PCH HayaBusa, Qatar Tigers, Papea) have to compete at the military CISM world championships, the Air Force Academy teams traditionally attend USPA's National Collegiate Skydiving Championships in December.

Three of the five teams who have posted scores on iFLY Colorado's Indoor Cloud League leaderboard in the past competed at last year's USPA Collegiates. Dive pool and sequences at the event are identical with the A Class and USPA's Beginner Class at the national outdoor championships.

Night Fury, Tall Boys and Artemis have been training the AAA Class dive pool, and the A Class sequences in December in Eloy were not very challenging for them. They won all three sets of the USPA Collegiates medals, and Tall Boys in 3rd place finished 36 points ahead of the team in 4th place after five rounds.

Tall Boys and Artemis had no experiences with A Class sequences. Collegiates winner Night Fury had won bronze medals in 4-way Beginner at the USPA Nationals 2021. Now they seem to become the top contender in 4-way AAA/Advanced at this year's national outdoor championships.
