Did You Know...

... that Skywalkers Junior re-connected with HF Flying Rebels and HF Chameleons?

Skywalkers Junior in training
posted Jul 1st, 2023 - The summer situation in the Czech Republic continues to separate the 4-way juniors from the seniors, even though Skywalkers Junior are demonstrating a new and different bridge between indoor and outdoor training and competition.

The former 4-way juniors of the HF Flying Rebels and HF Chameleons did not only make the step from the indoor beginnings years ago to AFF training and then to eventually joining forces for their first outdoor 4-way team. They also returned to their school place of the past years at the Hurricane Factory when it was time to perform the June sequences of the Indoor Cloud League.

Filip Lukavec, Antonin Ondracek and Martin Stransky performed the May sequences with their previous 4-way junior teams and their former indoor team mates, while they were getting ready for their first outdoor competition in June, together with their new team mate Kristian Vlk.

The NSL News covered the amazing progression and transition to the June meet of the Czech Skydiving League with the update from Pribram on June 19th. Skywalkers Junior started in the AA Class of outdoor competition and finished with an 8.4 average, despite compromised working time due to the lack of 4-way exit training from any jump planes.

The two senior teams at the outdoor competition in June had still participated at the Hurricane Factory's Indoor Cloud League event in April before they transitioned all the way to the outdoor environment. They did not join the Czech ICL leaderboard in May, where only 4-way juniors performed the six sequences, as the NSL News reported on June 2nd.

The three Skywalkers Junior members then switched from the Flying Rebels and Chameleons to their outdoor team and completed the eight rounds that the weather allowed on the meet weekend in Pribram.

Their Flying Rebels and Chameleons team mates welcomed them back when the former and current Czech 4-way juniors performed the six June sequences of the Indoor Cloud League. Filip Lukavec, Antonin Ondracek and Martin Stransky returned to the AAA Class dive pool and took on the slot-switching AAA sequence, as well.

The completion of the June sequences was facing an additional challenge, as the Hurricane Factory was closed for three weeks due to maintenance purposes. However, Jan Klapka had at least one school day with the 4-way juniors, plus Flying Rebels and Chameleons, and he completed all six indoor sequences successfully. The next Czech outdoor competition is scheduled for the July 8 weekend.
