posted Sep 7th, 2023 - The events of the Indoor Cloud League have continued through the outdoor season, naturally without the same attention and participation that they enjoy during the indoor season. However, especially the teams at the Hurricane Factory in Prague, iFLY Dallas and Paraclete XP have continued with their events, even though not all scores and videos have been posted yet.

Jan Klapka in the Czech Republic can always get back to the 4-way juniors in the summer, when the Czech 4-way seniors are not very active in the Hurricane Factory. He is already ahead of all other ICL teams, with scores and videos for the month of August just less than a week into the new month.

Kyle Hermberg at iFLY Dallas keeps up with the Czech ICL teams and competitors better than any other participating groups, and the ICL leaderboard is showing Hurricane Factory and iFLY Dallas in contention for the highest July scores. Both ICL teams have been collecting their scoring points in different ways, and the July leaderboard reflects the strategies once again.

Kyle Hermberg has emphasized that he is using the events to introduce 4-way competition to new participants, and he is using the player-coaching rules very efficiently to offer great guidance on the Rookie Class level. Jan Klapka's 4-way juniors hardly have any player-coaches at all and join forces with other juniors on the same level.

The leaderboard for July is reflecting the two very different approaches as well as the internal competition for the highest scores. The well trained Czech teams on the top level, who have grown out of the junior category, are posting the highest scores for the three technical sequences (AAA - AA - A). The new and very young Czech junior teams on the Rookie Class level (RRR - RR - R) are not ready yet to keep up with the well-guided player-coaching lineups that iFLY Dallas and other ICL teams put together.

The two different approaches are still generating almost exactly the same results, as the July leaderboard is also showing. Hurricane Factory and iFLY Dallas were separated by only four points in July (142 - 138). The Czech teams dominated the technical sequences, the iFLY Dallas lineups the Rookie Class categories.

They tied the maximum score of 25 points for the RR Class sequence, where the young HF Helicopters actually completed 29 points. The Helicopters took on the AA and A Class sequences, as well, as Jan Klapka begins early to expose his 4-way juniors to the complete dive pool. However, the Helicopters are not eligible any longer for the R Class sequence, after posting maximum scores twice in this category. Jan Klapka could not use the 31-pointer for the maximum score of 25 points. The HF Unicorns had the honor to make it to the leaderboard with their 16-pointer.

Kyle Hermberg's R Class lineup had to be maxed out at 25 points, as well, after completing 27 points in the 35 seconds of working time.
