posted Dec 11th, 2023 - The slower summer months of the Indoor Cloud League had at least brought the teams at the Hurricane Factory in Prague and at iFLY Dallas together on the same leaderboard in July, August and September. Outdoor activities and summer vacations usually slow down the indoor activities.

The Czech teams and Kyle Hermberg's ICL team at iFLY Dallas had a close 4-point competition in July (142 - 138) that the NSL News covered on September 7th, which was followed by a 22-point advantage for iFLY Dallas on the August leaderboard. The 4-way competitors in Texas won five of the six ICL categories, only the Skywalkers Junior posted one highscore in the AAA Class for the Czech delegation.

The strong start into the new Indoor Cloud League year and the following consistency of the iFLY Dallas team had eventually created a lead of 62 ICL points (993 - 931) for iFLY Dallas on the top of the 2023 leaderboard at the end of August.

The summer duel between the Czech teams at the Hurricane Factory in Prague and the ICL team at iFLY Dallas changed significantly in September when Skywalkers Junior and the other Czech 4-way juniors turned the table almost exactly the same way and won five of the six August sequences. Jan Klapka won the September competition by 33 points (144 - 111) and reduced the difference of the 2023 total down to only 29 points (1104 - 1075), with three more months to come.

Dallas Dynasty performed once again the two Open Class sequences (AAA/AA) for the iFLY Dallas team reliably with the team's indoor lineup. However, Skywalkers Junior and HF Chameleons, the two Czech national teams in 4-way Open and 4-way Junior, together won the two sequences by a total of 11 points in September. Dynasty had at least tied the AA Class score in August.

Donaldo Grajeda, Jeff Goodin, Nick Anderson and player-coach Lucas King saved the iFLY Dallas honor with the 30-pointer for the RR Class sequence, which had to be capped at 25 points.

The Czech junior team HF Helicopters contributed heavily to the September total and won the RRR category by 23 points over the iFLY Dallas lineup. The Helicopters scored the first time above 25 points in this category and have one more opportunity to win the highscore for the Czech ICL team. The 4-way juniors have already lost their eligibility for R and RR sequences, and their 46 and 50 points for the RR/R sequences could not be added to the Czech total.

The RR Class lineup of the iFLY Dallas team won the only September highscore by seven points over the HF Sharks (25 - 18), after capping the 30-pointer at 25. Sharks and Unicorns will soon have to step in for the Helicopters when they are posting their last score above 25 points very soon.
