posted Jan 7th, 2024 - The NSL News pointed out on January 3rd that Hurricane Factory and iFLY Dallas were heading towards a new Indoor Cloud League showdown. There was a 9-point difference between them (1204 - 1195) at the end of October after ten months of the special monthly indoor competition.

It became even closer after the next six sequences of November, when the group of Czech 4-way teams reduced the difference by two more points. There is an advantage of seven points left for the iFLY Dallas team that Kyle Hermberg and his Indoor Cloud League team have to carry over the finish line with the last six sequences of the year.

The combination of Skywalkers Junior and HF Chameleons laid once again the foundation for the Czech ICL team with the two Open Class sequences (AAA/AA) and created a 15-point lead together. The Texas team won the total for the other four sequences by 13 points and still ended up two points behind.

Jan Klapka has already submitted the videos of the December sequences, and his ICL team finished with a higher total than in November (119). Kyle Hermberg now needs a total of 113 points for the month of December to win the 2023 competition by one point and defend the 1st place of 2022 successfully. The iFLY Dallas team had won the 2022 competition by over 200 points.

Kyle Hermberg has always been using the Indoor Cloud League events at iFLY Dallas to recruit new 4-way teams and competitors and offer training and advice with his assistant coaches. Several of his participants have been training and competing with Dallas teams in the past, including indoor and outdoor championships.

He has once again recruited three teams for the national indoor championship at Paraclete XP in February, an event that he has visited regularly in the past. The three Dallas teams will represent Texas in three of the four different 4-way categories.

Melissa Schwab (OC), Zoe Rojo (P), Pressley Bonner (IC) and Jonathan Cooper (T) will compete in 4-way Beginner (A Class). Pressley Bonner, last year's Dallas Distraction member, also competes in the same slot for the Intermediate Class lineup (AA Class), together with Deanna (OC) and Nick Anderson (T) and Kyle Hermberg (P). Kyle Hermberg has double duties, as well, with the third iFLY Dallas team in the Advanced Class, this time in the tail slot. Alexa Boushey (OC), Christina Edwards (P) and Vanessa Shirazi (IC) are his team mates. The complete lineup posted the Indoor Cloud League November scores for the AAA and AA sequences.
