posted Jan 24th, 2024 - As usual, the SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest 2024 allowed the participants to sign up for more than only one team. Many of the more experienced 4-way competitors are player-coaches for other teams at the same time.

The winner of the unofficial player-coaching contest was Doug Hendrix this year, who won the AAA/Open Class competition with Chicken Bolts and added a second 1st place to his accomplishments. He was also in the lineup of Roscoe’s Roundup who won the AA/Advanced Class competition.

His Chicken Bolts team mate Monique Lai challenged him for the top spot of the player-coaches with her second team, Would you like white, wheat or potato? She finished 15 points behind Doug Hendrix (165 - 180) in 2nd place, which was also the 2nd place of the unofficial combined player-coaching competition.

Jennifer Cook, Monique Lai's team mate with the Chicken Bolts lineup at SkyVenture New Hampshire, and also with the SNE Fly Girls, finished in 3rd place of the player-coaches with the 1st place in the AAA/Open Class and the 3rd place on the AA/Advanced Class leaderboard with Snatch Force.

Only meet director Ben Liston did not commit to double duties at this year's event. He has his hands full running the event, even though he has been in more than only one team in the past years. However, as most of the times, the original Mass Defiance member and USPA bronze medalist in 4-way Open, was once again in the winning 2024 lineup on the AAA/Open Class leaderboard.

He and Doug Hendrix have been Chicken Bolts team mates in all events that the 4-way Advanced Class team at USPA Nationals has attended since it was launched in 2021. They have also trained and competed together in 8-way with Prison 9 in 2021, and Doug Hendrix was still in the 8-way lineup who won bronze medals at the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving and at the USPA Nationals last year.

Reunion members Kim Hollander and Andre Van Heerden were on double duties at SkyVenture New Hampshire, as well. They finished in 5th place with Frenetic on the AA/Advanced Class leaderboard. Their Reunion/Lite XP team mate Dave Grabowski finished right behind in 6th place with Four Lost Souls Swimming in a Fish Bowl. Only Louis French, who joined the three former Lite XP team mates for their Reunion, did not sign up for an additional team. Belinda Silva, in 3rd place on the AAA/Open Class leaderboard with 4-Titude, also competed once again with Jennifer Cook for the Snatch Force.
